We bought the gelato on a Take away box and eat it at the hotel because of our little 1 year son who was very tired 😊🐦Extremly tasty and creamy gelato, my absolutely favourite is Manet (hazelnut gelato with pistachio cream), it is too good and a must to 🍦🍧😆❤️😍

Nice and tasty ice cream. Always worth a visit. They have special cones with chocolate or hazelnut for 0,90€ and a large sortiment of flavours.

This extremely soft gelato is so good. This establishment is bound to have a very long line throughout the day. The wait is worth it as this gelato is of the very highest quality and the cups are made of cones! I would recommend the mint flavour as it was outstanding.

My family of 3 had to wait 10 minutes or so, even though it was 10:00 at night, but the people lined up for a reason. It is very good gelato from a nice shop. The staff were very helpful, spoke excellent English, and made sure everyone was happy. The choices were plentiful and the flavors were excellent. While not... More

If maps of Venice look like a fish, this gem is located at the back of the fish's mouth, just east of the Ponte Rialto bridge. Two of the happiest employees in the world will greet you as they serve up Italy's best to locals and tourists who simply cannot get enough. If the lines aren't too crowded, ask for... More

Delicious flavors, friendly service, cute and clean shop (though rather small). Gelato comes with a yummy wafer on top!

Very good icecream, like in many other gelaterias around Venice. Cones are glutenfree, try the extra flavors like Manet or the Walnut Figue Mix. Pistache is also great, and... Well just try them all...

A fantastic little ice cream shop. Warm and friendly servers, delicious gelato flavors, reasonable prices and generous portions. You can't ask for any more.

Let's just say I had gelato... A LOT while in Italy. This was the best. So creamy and FLAVORFUL. I got the cheesecake and coconut. I'm still dreaming about it. Also had a peach mochi that was delicious. Again the gelato was so flavorful, but still natural.

My search for amazing Italian gelato led me to this place and I realized the difference of 'real' gelato when I had this omg it was divine I wanted more and more and didn't want my scoops to end - you can eat the cup as well! It's the best gelato I had in my 15 day tour of Italy... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
