Some of the best gelato I have ever tasted. It’s always busy anytime of the day but totally understand when you try the gelato. They let you try it as well before selecting the flavour you want. Definitely recommend to visit if you are in...VeniceMore
After all the Instagram hype we had to try the gelato at Suso. So glad we did!! This is hands down THE best gelato in Venice, creamy and delicious. You can try before you buy - but honestly I wouldn’t have anything other than pistachio...- simple yet so very well done. The shop is small, and can get very busy especially on a warm afternoon. Plenty of places in the shade to stop and enjoy your choice.More
Suso is not about traditional hand made Italian ice cream. To start with the base taste is salty - unheard of for proper ice cream. The consistency is quite all right (albeit not extraordinary) yet the different flavours have something of unnatural, artificial to it....Even the cone is average, quite hard, stiff, too sweet. In essence a very mediocre experience for an extravagant price: my reco - do not queue for salty ice cream here. There are much better ice cream options almost anywhere in Italy!More
I had 2 scoops, my partner had a milkshake, everything was divine. We would absolutely go again. Fantastic texture and flavours. We went at about 4.30pm on a Wednesday and there were only a couple of people lined up in front of us. By the...time we were at the front, there were about 10 people behind us so we definitely got lucky with timing. They moved through people quite quickly so I think it’s worth waiting in line, but also chances are if you do a lap of the block you might come back 15 mins later and be at the front of the line.More
I wish I could write a nice review. I really want to spare food allergy families from a painful visit. (there's another place nearby--Gellateria Gallonetto--that is wonderful.) We told the owner how 2-3 people sneered when I merely asked about food allergies. Go to another...place and have zero hassle. Thanks.More
We ate gelato all over Rome. The only thing that came close was gelato Romano, but I think this was better. At first I was a bit skeptical, that the line was all about the TikTok/social media hype. My taste buds told me differently. Definitely...deliciousMore
Wow definitely some of the best if not the best gelato we’ve ever had! 100% recommend trying this, go early when they open or late at night as it’s the quietest times or else you’ll be queuing for ages!
One of the best gelato’s I’ve ever tasted, at least in Venice. Fair price, considering its quality and taste. Staff very gentle.
Not only was the ice cream incredibly delicious, but it had a unique quality that I haven't experienced before. I typically feel guilty after indulging in ice cream, but this particular shop has truly perfected the balance between flavor and texture. The ice cream was...so light and airy that I didn't feel weighed down or regretful afterwards. Aside from the exceptional ice cream, the staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to provide recommendations based on personal preferences.More
Amazingly good gelato, and so many different flavors that you don’t see in Saint Charles Missouri. I felt like I was really in Italy as I walked down the street eating my cone. Great and quick service.
Suso was definitely one of the two best gelaterias we enjoyed during our 3 1/2 week visit through Italy, The passion fruit sorbetto was unbelievable ~ a little sweet, a little tart, and a lot of yummy! Stopping by Suso became a daily ritual while...in Venice and we sadly miss all the deliciousness.More
Our tour guide took us here and all nine of us in our party loved it! We had some with food allergies and they were careful to accommodate us!
Yes it is good and creamy (opera), a notch above the other gelato I tasted along the way from Dubrovnik to Venice. Well, may be CACAO from Lubjljana is a close competitor. Long line on one time we visit, and no line on other time.
Had one of the best ice creams ever. I had pistachio, with maracuia and tiramisu flavour and it was just delicious. Creamy ! Definitely recommending this place if you go to Venice
