Just wonderful! Favorites: pistache and mimosa. More creamy taste. Very kind attention! I asked for flavour recommendations and asked if I like more fruits, chocolates etc before recommending flavours, and this proves to me that you have a lot of attention with the customer.

Literally the best ice-cream I have ever tasted. We were staying just a five minute walk from Suso and we found ourselves going in around twice a day because of how good the ice cream was. Often the queue was massive, but we were never waiting more then ten minutes and it was always completely worth it. There was a wide variety of flavours and I highly recommend the mango ice-cream as it is literally the best ice cream I have ever tasted. I cannot recommend this place enough and it is probably what I miss most about our time away.

The ice cream was very, very tasty. We paid €11 for 2 ice creams with 2 scoops each - not exactly cheap but worth the money. There was the largest vegan selection I have ever seen in an ice cream parlor. We didn't have to wait in line for long either.

It's the most expensive takeaway ice cream I've ever paid for in my life. Three simple cups, two with three flavors and one with two flavors, cost me 21,40 EUR (see receipt). I should have left them on the counter and left, but after half an hour in a row and in that crazy heat I bowed my head ... Ice cream is decent but not worth these figures. I invite the Owner of SUSO to Rome and I offer him a Mr. gelato in the historic center, at absolutely more reasonable prices. Unfortunately foreign tourists in Venice pay any amount for anything and these are the consequences ...

How good are the ice creams!! They are not expensive at all compared to Venice prices in general and are very rich, creamy and not heavy at all. I tried tiramisu and dark chocolate, tremendous! The cookie was very delicious in the cone, I tried the chocolate one with puffed rice covered in chocolate :)

It was not easy to find Suso, the GPS signal was lost in the middle of the alleys, almost reaching Suso. Big queue outside. Possibility to read the flavors abroad with QRCode. Very small space. A ball €2.5 plus the price of the cone (it varies whether it is plain or with chocolate). There are no paper/plastic cups for ice cream, they are made of biscuits, like cones. Creamy ice cream with little sugar. We ate yogurt with wild berries (didn't taste like sugar), lemon (quite acidic), mango (not at all sweet) and tiramisu. A good ice cream!

The gelato is good, but not necessarily top ten material and probably not worth the prices. It's more about location than anything else. They offer gluten free cones but the girl serving didn't seem to know which flavours were gluten free and which were not, and had to ask her supervisor. Overall I prefer GROM, both for gelato and for gluten free. You don't have to work about cross contamination and in my opinion it's better gelato anyway.

The ice cream menu is fantastic. Cramped store in a corner of Venice. Almost always with queues. The prices are a little higher than traditional ice cream shops, but the experience is worth it.

We were actually here in May, 2022. When we travel to Italy we typically sample gelato at least once a day. For us, two gelaterias stand out: Suso in Venice and Vivoli in Florence. Vivoli is more traditional but one of the few places that has rice (pudding) flavored gelato. Suso is unique, with interesting and delicious takes on traditional and untraditional flavors. Their hazelnut gelato is the best I've ever tasted and their fruit flavors are also wonderful. It's a bit off the beaten track but easy to find and you can pretty much depend on waiting in line for a few minutes. One big bonus is that there are some absolutely stunning, private little canals close by where you can sit and take in what really makes Venice special while eating absolutely incredible gelato.

Very bad experience. Fior di latte flavor and flavorless tiramisu, ditto for cookies and toffee caramel. Unable to identify the flavor of the chosen flavour. The only identifiable flavor turned out to be "opera" but this does not justify the high-end prices or a surcharge for some flavors defined as "special". Cone without infamy and without praise. Completely rejected.

Suso has become somewhat famous online and so it can be crowded at times. There are multiple locations in the city and we usually got there early enough to avoid the crowds. The gelato is fantastic and is a true Italian experience. There are a surplus of good gelato spots in Venice but Suso is always good quality.

Surely it is an ice cream made with good ingredients and not touristy, but if you are not a tourist and you know the quality ice cream, unfortunately I suggest to halve the sugars, the taste is good but after 4 licks really too sweet, at the end cloying ice cream, very silky. I who am fond of it unfortunately I nangiato a third The ice cream is really very expensive. But this is understandable for the city. You pay it, if you take it nice load like mine, 10 euros. Better then a small one so you avoid glycemic peaks or leave it. Thank you anyway for your commitment in a city where it is so difficult to eat authentic.

Not only was the ice cream incredibly delicious, but it had a unique quality that I haven't experienced before. I typically feel guilty after indulging in ice cream, but this particular shop has truly perfected the balance between flavor and texture. The ice cream was so light and airy that I didn't feel weighed down or regretful afterwards. Aside from the exceptional ice cream, the staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to provide recommendations based on personal preferences.

We had gelato every day while in Venice, and this was absolutely delicious. The flavors are very unique, so it's a good idea to check out the selection online so you can be prepared. I recommend Suso and Manet - they paired beautifully and were delicious. All four of us loved our gelato at Suso, including our Celiac. The folks at Suso were kind and especially helpful in making sure he ordered something gluten free. Don't miss it!

Pretty misleading prices. Ended up paying €12 for two cones with only 2 scoops which the board said would cost €9,40. Obviously not a huge price difference but it all adds up and seems like other people have also been a bit ripped off by this place. Gelato was alright but won’t be going back.

San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
