This restaurant was only a few minutes walk from our hotel and we had a lovely welcome. Our starters (spaghetti in tomato sauce) was great, but our veal in breadcrumbs was a little disappointing as it was a bit dry. Had very nice greetings from...More

Waiter's were very cheerful. The food was varied. We had pizza, but there was alot more on offer. Looking at the dishes that cameout, it all looked good. From the squid to the spaghetti. We enjoyed it..would try again

There's a awful lot of average restaurants in Venice serving average pizza and pasta at inflated prices. Was the food bad - no. Was the service bad - no. Were the drinks relatively expensive - yes. It's just that there's nothing to distinguish this place...More

My wife and I eat here on two of our three nights in Venice. Both meals were excellent and the staff and ambience were excellent. A hubbub of noise greets you when you go in and with music in the background a perfect way to...More

Was lured into this tourist trap by a charming waiter. To test the waters we ordered red wine and some bruschetta. Wine was inferior and overpriced. The Italian chef should be ashamed of him/herself sending this inferior bread to the table. Casey dry bread, no...More

I'm glad we ate here before reading the reviews. I read some bad reviews about the Christmas Lobster deal. If you are foolish enough to think you'd get a lobster for €8, then you're crazy! We came to Venice looking for authentic Italian food and...More

This place is a complete tourist trap. The waiters and staff are friendly, but probably to entice more customers to their restaurant. The menu is deceiving as we were told the set is around 8 euros, only to find out that it is per 100g....More

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
