Great location in a quiet square. Got busy later in the evening, so probably worth reserving if you want to sit outside. Service was friendly throughout. Vegetarian options are limited (one antipasto, one primo), but I'm told they were excellent. I rather enjoyed my fishy...More

The restaurant is located in a very nice and quiet place. The service is excellent as the waiters are always there to help you. The food is average and expensive, we ordered a salad, grilled vegetables and two main dishes and we paid 60 euros....More

The food was great, but one of the servants, the one with brown and curly hair and thin, he was very arrogant and hurried up with everything when me and my friends ordered food and we did'nt eat some dessert because he made everything so...More

Everything said open on a Sunday at 6:00pm, but after trekking through many tiny alleys, all locked up. Call before you bother to believe the listing.

We had a delicious dinner at this restaurant a bit off the tourist trail. Very nice service. Air conditioned inside. Family friendly. Can do large groups with advance notice. Classic Italian menu with options for kids. Good value.

We really wanted to love this place especially in light of the great reviews. The setting was promising but the food was hit or miss. The decor is simple and inviting- like a neighborhood restaurant away from the crowd. Dishes are on the pricier side...More

Stumbled upon this restaurant when we got turned away from a couple of others because we didn't have reservations (quick 1 night in Venice). While we couldn't sit outside, the inside was very appealing and had decent air conditioning. We really enjoyed the wait staff....More

We went to da Jonny on the recommendation of our hotel. I wasn't going to go because the name put me off. Shows how wrong one can be. What a great place. Fantastic food, prepared with love. All 4 of us were blown away by...More

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri

Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated
within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over
one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime
neighborhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side
streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals

Yes. Didn't encounter one restaurant in Italy that wasn't happy to do that. Their portions are large.
