Selected a Rustica: salami, cheese, tomato on pita type roll. Was good. Great option to grab something simple for a fair price. Friendly staff. More pizza and sandwich type options as you enter Plaza Santa Margarita.

I was taken here by an Italian friend to try the local speciality, Tramazzini. The filled sandwich type snacks were delicious. They were 1.60€ for take away and 2€to eat in. I had 4 different types and each was amazing. The crab and egg one...More

The sandwiches are good and are obviously the speciality here. Prepared fresh. On the other hand the pasta dishes are frozen microwave heated dishes. Best avoided. Particularly disappointing for such simple dishes as spaghetti with tomato sauce.... Scandalous

If you are in Venice and are getting bored with the standard breakfast of your hotel, be sure to check out this place. It is right behind Galleria dell'Accademia and it serves the best tramezzini sandwiches ever. It opens early, but since the tramezzinis are...More

Visit this place for the tramezzini! It's the official 'birthplace' of these wonderful sandwiches. Don't expect a beautiful restaurant or great pasta/pizza - it's a 'snackbar' that focuses on amazing Tramezzini sandwiches that go well with a proper Spritz (like many places in Venezia). Theres...More

If you are looking for a sandwich this is the place that you must come. Choises are huge. So tasty, if I come to Venice again this place will be on my list again.

We stumbled upon this little bar whilst lost in Venice...what a find! A plethora of fresh, moist Tramezzini on offer; think your classic English crustless white bread quartered sandwiches but there the comparison ends; each small ‘quarter’ is filled with a mountain of filling. They...More

I wanted to buy some tramezzini for lunch so visited this cafe due to the good reviews. We chose three varieties but as they are only sold by the half sandwich that wasn’t enough to fill us up so we ordered a couple more. Yum!

As described in the LP 2018 pocket guide. Stumbled across by accident so glad we did, Food was great and good prices but the atmosphere was every bit as important, hoards of students coming in for their lunch, felt like the place to be. Downside...More

Went in for a drink and the restaurant was busy enough. Food looked OK - staff not the friendliest. Have a drink or food but don't visit the loo old fashioned and the taps didn't work in the toilet room

Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with
street artists, students, painters, sculptors,
restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and
heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's
collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for
evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries
cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica
buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob
