We often visit this restaurant in the hearth of Cannaregio and we love to eat fish or pasta here, the meat is also a great choice and the service is so friendly

All the staff are great, the food is soooo good and the price I very good too. I strongly recommend everyone to have the same experience my wife and I had. We liked the food so much that we repeated the same place three times.

Several years ago we spent a week in a flat opposite Ristorante Diana, whilst we never ate there we fully experienced the exuberant atmosphere from our balcony! Last week whilst strolling past, unfortunately in the rain, we decided to stop for lunch but at 12.30...More

Terrific people work here. The menu although not huge, like some others , but varied and interesting. We ate here three times during our five day stay. Calamari fritti the best, gnocchi gorgonzola excellent, filet steak the best ever. The vino de casa was also...More

I was a little worried we’d walked in to a tourist trap, but the prices were ok and the food was quite nice. The risotto in particular. While the food was good, the highlight was watching the waiters try their best to be polite with...More

We ate here for dinner. The area started flooding while we were eating, but the staff was totally calm about it. They tried to help elderly couple venturing out into the flood. I ate basic spaghetti but it was so Good I cleaned my plate....More

The Dianna’s Restaurant, on Rio della Misericordia, was full of local workers, which I take as a good indicator. My wife and I had the excellent fish risotto and a mixed salad. Our daughter had the fried fish mix. Both dishes were good and reasonably...More

Friday lunch in April. Pasta was excellent. Service was friendly and helpful. The only thing we found was that the bread was not to our taste and is was like steamed bread not cooked in an oven.

We visited here on our last day in Venice for lunch and it was lovely - on a gorgeous sunny day there is nothing better than to sit outside and eat! Food was lovely - we had carbonara and steak and a very nice bottle...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
