Description: The restaurant Isola d'oro is one of the most prestigious and important...
The restaurant Isola d'oro is one of the most prestigious and important restaurants in the Lido Venice. Since many years we keep the tradition of cooking delicious meals and unique typical dishes of Venice. Our pizzas have received repeated awards and always are judged the best in town. The hospitality and warmth of our local are appreciated by all our guests. Our outdoor terrace, the most beautiful and unique in Lido, offers an overview of the Venice lagoon and allows you to see clearly the Piazza San Marco. The impeccable service and the kindness of our staff will assist you and you will always be welcome at all hours. We have a large dining room with more than 100 seat places, furnished with modern style and refined taste, warm and suitable for banquets, weddings, meetings and conferences.

The only good thing about this restaurant is the view

A poor tourist restaurant. Good location if you want to view the lagoon, but the food is of poor quality and the service is indifferent. You are unlikely to find any Venetians eating here. Over the last few years this restaurant has become progressively worse. It is primarily a pizza place and can... read more

After waiting two hours for order which was then wrong we chose not to pay service charge. Owner was so furious that when I told him how rude he was he shouted at me to f*** off and that I was 'a woman who needed a good f***!' And then continued to rant at me in front of a full... More

We always eat here at least once when we are staying in Lido. The prices are very reasonable and the food is good. Staff are friendly.

We have eaten here many times over the years and it is one of the few restaurants we return to. The pizzas are good and the staff are always very friendly. Although it is on the road you have a great view of the lagoon (apart from the petrol station)

Not so interested staff who brought the wrong things, pasta over cooked, seafood actually tasted bad, pizza ok by Swedish standards (but not Italian...). Nice view and not too expensive saves the day..

We visited here one night, yes the view is lovely but that is all it has going for it, the food was average at best. The pizza very disappointing but the price was ridiculous, you pay for the view. It was nearly 100 euros for a meal for 2 adults and 2 children, the same meal at a different restaurant... More

a quaint little restaurant with the most laid back waiter ever but this was part of the charm of dining there. My partner and I chose the tourist menu which included Italian specialities. We enjoyed our meal and the view of Venice across the lagune.

We had the "pleasure" of visiting this restaurant at the end of march during our 3 day stay in Venice. This restaurant is a tourist bait because it's licated very close to the vaporetto stop on Lido. We were tired of walking through Venice all afternoon and we thought we'd have a dinner here. What a mistake. The lighting is... More

On our way back from lido beach we noticed this before getting the boat back to san marco. A clean restaurant and hidden away.... It was empty which isnt a good sign and we were the only ones there so the waiter had no excuse to see to us. But it appeared his mind was preoccupied and looked as if... More

It's a hidden place but it's very centrally located. Make sure you visit this place. The staff are very friendly and easy going and, if you seat outside, you can have great views. The food is also amazing.
