Lovely pub in the heart of Venice. Drinks were great, burgers were great and the atmosphere was really nice. Staff were also nice.

Just off Rialto bridge, near the Disney store. Barman was friendly and helpful. €6 to €7 for a pint. Pop music playing. Was reasonably busy with tourists with a good atmosphere, they do food/bar snacks which looked nice but we only drank.

We are currently sat in a corner having the best time in this gem of a back street pub!!! Prices are ok and it's so cosy and warm after a winter day of sightseeing. Staff are really welcoming and attentive and the vibe is laid back and sociable. Everyone is talking and enjoying themselves it's lovely!! So I've attached a... More

We popped in to this bar 4 times over 3 days. Used by locals , holiday makers young and old. Hidden down the alley at the side of the Disney store , Rialto area. Nice relaxed feel to the place. Music and sport on TV. Cheaper to drink alcohol than soft drinks. Wine and prosecco 2.5 euros.

Went here a few nights when on a break with my wife, bar staff got to know us and treated us brilliantly, from getting us a quiet area to drink to our very own table service, took time to know us personally and made us feel extremely welcome.

This place is great, right off a tourist shopping area and steps from the Grand Canal. We were looking for a football game on a Sunday in Venice and not only were we able to get pint of Guinness and a burger but there's a live web cam so we could tell our families and wave hello.

Spent a lovely day walking down the back streets and came across this lovely looking old pub, went in for a drink to see if we wanted to eat there and were told straight away that if we sat at the table we selected they could ask us to move if we were not eating and someone else wanted to... More

Right across from Da Mamo (recommended) is a cute Irish Pub. This is just a block off of one of the piazza's on the other side of the Rialto bridge, down a small "alley way" Sign is easy to see from the piazza. My husband enjoyed an Irish beer, and we only ordered an order of chips, as we weren't... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
