We visited this Trattoria on the recommendation of a friend and as a result, our expectations were quite high. Based on our experience, we suspect that the restaurant might be trading on a reputation built up in its glory days that may well be long...More

I came here on my uncle and aunties recommendation as it is their favourite restaurant in Venice. It lived up to my expectations! We saw the staff preparing the seafood as we came in, so fresh and and delicious. Definitely recommend.

This place is a little off the main street so it is quiet. The wait staff were numerous and excellent. The food quality was wonderful. Fish and shellfish and pasta-- all wonderful. Not pretentious at all. Worth trying to find.

It feels like a local place, where good taste is everywhere. They serve fresh fish and delicious pasta. The restaurant is very typical venetian. A great place to have dinner when in Venice.

neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi)
stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San

Sorry for the late response, I really don't know the prices, I'm sure they are adjusted according to the season... Hope you had a great meal if you went.

I enjoyed dining at all Madonna every time I visit Venice, but it's certainly not "fine dining." However it is open on some nights when other, better restaurants are closed, which is handy. The fish dishes (which is what... More
