Food good, wine ok on value, service good. Clean and friendly. Nice modern restaurant. Worth a visit but nothing exceptional.

This cozy restaurant offers a variety of Italian dishes, also from the local tradition. I could recommend seafood, be it as a main course, on pizza or in pasta.

Respectable pasta near San Marco. NOT paying extra for the ambiance or srvice. Caprese salad was fresh and good.

The waiter in front of restaurant was very helpful explaining the menu and we decided to eat there. Food is really normal, far away for a good restaurant...

Welcoming staff, great food selection and attention to patrons.... this was a freshing experience. Venice has a lot of nice restaurants. This one was a little more than nice. It offer hospitality and a warm welcome. Higher end restaurant... food very tasty. Nice atmosphere.

Pizza was ok and fresh but could have done with more cheese and sauce... but the Arribiata was sublime!!! ...The best we had tasted in Venice!

Good food and good service. Good value for money though portions were a bit on the small side. I'd recommend at least two courses unless you're not hungry!

Don't go here! My sister and I had just arrived in Venice and were looking for a quick bite to eat near our hotel. We stumbled upon this place and decided to go in. The server was definitely an elitist and made us for bad for ordering a small meal. We ordered the lasagna to share and got the smallest... More

First day in Italy and we go to this restaurant. Turns out this is the most expensive meal I've had in Europe so far (I've been to London, Portugal and Spain on this trip). Not only the most expensive, but the WORST meal ever. The caprese salad was a joke. I've had better from chain restaurants in the states. The... More

We ordered some pasta with seafood, and we get spaghetti with mussels with very bad taste, we ate a lot of mussels before and definitely know the taste of fresh ones... We ate calamari too, nothing special just fried defrosted calamari rings... Very disappointed.

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
