Pasta is very reasonable and great choice, the owner can't speak English ( hmmm me thinks he can) he is cracking fun. Great choice of meals, very quick turn over.

I really liked this place as it never pretends to be something it's not and priced itself accordingly. It's a pizzeria doing lots of fresh fish and seafood that varies dependent on what they bought that day. Waiter's were fun and engaging and could not have been friendlier or done more to make us welcome. In many ways an antidote... More

After walking around from the Hilton, we stumbled upon this place. I has a grande outdoor seating area and beautiful water views. I would highly recommend it for an inexpensive meal and wine if you are touring around Guidecca from the Hilton.

We were staying at the Hilton and were pleased to find this restaurant just a pleasant walk along from the hotel. The setting was great as was the food.

It's a bit of a journey to the Giudecca, but it is certainly worth it for this place. It has a great location, looking out on the canal, especially when cruise ships occasionally plough through. The food and drink is also very good, and the cost is lower than the more touristed areas of Venice. Our waiter was extremely nice,... More

Best pizza I've ever had. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice. Great service, incredible views at sunset, and very reasonably priced pizzas (~€8)

You need to be aware that this restaurant is on the island of Guidecca, but only a quick vaporetto ride from San Marks. It only opens for dinner, but we had 2 memorable meals there. The food and drink were very good, the service excellent, and the views across to St Marks, and also della Salute, just stunning. Definitely need... More

Good food and great view. This place is quiet nice and away from all the tourists at San Marco. Vi had different kinds of pasta two different days and it was all good. The staff was very friendly and quick. It is also a place were the locals come during the weekends. So much fun to experience them.

The location is perfect when weather lets you outside: you have a view of the whole south side of Venice and the Giudecca Canal. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was very good, and prices were quite reasonable. We expect to be back . . .

Staying in Giudecca

Neighborhood Profile
Giudecca is a retreat for Venetians away from the crowds. Symbolically, six metal teeth represent Venice’s six sestieri (districts); the seventh, Guidecca, points away from the others – part of Dorsoduro, but separated by the Giudecca Canal. Giudecca evolved from a center of shipyards and factories to a quiet residential area with a sprinkling of restaurants and bars. The majestic harmonious Redentore church stands as thanks for delivering Venice from the plague, hosting an annual heartfelt festival.
