The place looks very nice, the service is good and the menu has a good variety of choices. We ordered meet balls which were really good and a pizza which was good but not outstanding. On the other hand, prices are ok, we paid 26.5 Euros for our order.

Excellent staff and food, the service was fantastic, the restaurant itself was very busy. The lasagne and linguine was very very nice and boiled veggies!!! We have finally found a place after three weeks away from home who do not fry them. A flash thunderstorm upset our dinner but that was all part of it. Panna Cotta was nice but... More

We didn't expect the cover fee, nobody tell us about that. The food was very good and the attention too.

We booked a table but were left waiting for 30 minutes (I suspect they had given our table away). Pizzas were nice but nothing special. The bill felt expensive for what we'd had.

If you're on your way from railway station to central square (or in any other case) its a perfect place to eat. Great salads, delicious pizza, tasty prosecco, nice stuff, relevant price tag. Strongly recommended!

We just wanted pizza and got the best! A hidden gem for most tourists but not for us as our gorgeous B&B Oltre Il Giardino just over the bridge recommended it. Full of locals, always the best sign, this was the perfect eatery for us. Great and prompt service full of smiles, nice wine suggestions and yummy Tiramisu.

My husband and I went to Muro Frari for dinner without prior reservation. All tables on the terrace were reserved but they managed to find us a table inside. Nice atmosphere, food was overall really good. I highly recommend the carpaccio, the meat balls were ok but their pizzas are delicious!! Service was ok-ish. Would definetely go back for the... More

Definitely book a reservation. We emailed yesterday and luckily were able to book a table for 7:30. When we left around 9:00 they were slammed. Great wine, reasonably priced. The lasagna was just okay but the duck gnocchi, pizza and meatball with tomato sauce (starter) we amazing. The service was a little slow, but not much to complain about except... More

Staying in San Polo

Neighborhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighborhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
