We went for the cicchetti and were a bit disappointed - the crostini/sandwiches were good but the arancini was cold and lacked flavor.

Very reasonable price and superb fresh food, been here probably a dozen times and always superb. Excellent value for so close to the Rialto.

This was a lovely little enoteca worth eating at for the simple but tasty food. We started with little cicchetti, or Venetian tapas, and had a pasta each. The had cheap wine and even cheaper Aperol spritz, and service was prompt and efficient. The cicchetti...More

If you are looking for a low key, local eatery- voila, here you are. Close to Rialto, hidden in a side street. Great wines, small delicious menu, fair prices! My Venetien B&B host recommended this place. Very basic, very delightful...pink tuna, a treat! Have fun...

Just half a block from the Grand Canal, this little restaurant has a wide selection of tapas at a reasonable price. We started with glasses of Verdiccio wine along with a panini of ham arugula (so good we had to get another one)! We got...More

Description
Founded in 1936 in the heart of Venice, in the Calle Cavalli street, very close to the Rialto bridge and the Rossini cinema, our wine bar offers its customers a cosy and peaceful atmosphere, with a familiar touch given by the wooden decorations which are the same that characterized the ancient "bacari", the places where people stopped to have a "cicheto" (small portion of typical food) and an "ombra de vin" (glass of wine).
