I came here with my family on our visit to Venice. The waiters were rude and we waited forever to get the bill. Give it a miss.

Won't go back or recommend others to go. 2 of 4 waiters were rude. last two waiters were good. Add a big service fee to their high prices. Toilets had no toilet seats... Food was ok but small portions. Pizza could have more content for the price - large areas of the diavola had no salami. Too bad

The pizza was delicious but once they brought us our check they tried to steal €10, thinking we weren't paying attention. Check your bill and your change!

Wandering round the alleyways of Venice is a treat and especially when you find a little treasure like this. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable this local type café is just what you need for a very pleasant lunch . Great lasagne and delicious cold beer. First class service and a lovely view over a super square for entertainment while you... More

With so much choice it amazes me disinterested places like this still exist. Anyway, nothing special. Average pizza, average pasta and below average service. Like a lot of places in Venice Ull pay €2 for the privilege of parking your bum. Once again canned mushrooms. Come on, what's up with you Venice? Liked the 1 litre beer, not much else... More

- Expensive - Just OK food - Extremely bad and slow service - Charge for everything The restaurant is located on the side of Campo Sant'Anzolo, with a serving area outside as well as inside. We ordered 1 pizza and 1 plate of "fried mix fish" for lunch, with Coca cola and Spritzer for drinks. The food was bland and... More

We got the two course turist menue, however, when you pay 20 Euro each person you would expect a certain quality. First course, spaghetti with mussels, had been OK in case all 5 mussels had been eadable: but we would not dare to take the chance.... Though our second course includes basically OK fish fillet the whole experience was poor.... More

We went out for a late dinner and after struggling for a while trying to find a place that was open we eventually settled on this restaurant. That turned out to be the biggest mistake of our trip to Venice. We each ordered a pizza but what we got was an abomination topped with canned mushrooms, devoid of taste. I... More

Typical tourist restaurant with a lot of people around and not only. Ideal for a break during your walk to the Venice streets . Good pizza and service.

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
