they have two menus, one for the locals and one for the tourists. Hold your menu until you get the bill.

We saw this place as we were walking around Venice - on our way in fact to an evening concert. It doesn't look much as you pass it and it is not so big inside. Bt boy are we glad that we went in. The...service was very good. And the food totally enjoyable. A large serving of prosciutto and melon to start which almost defeated two of us - and then a lasagna, and a gnochi dish. Both very tasty and perfectly cooked. Definitely one of the best meals we had in Venice - not posh but genuinely good foodMore
We saw this small restaurant from the street and decide to give it a chance. We didn't made a mistake. We had spaghetti carbonara which was superb. Young waiter was So kind to us, and he know how to do serius job. All in all...we don't have any bad thing to say about this place, just compliments!More
We had the special of the day. Best lasagna, which melted in your mouth. Bread that was tasty & soft. Pork cutlet, tender & flavorful. Beautifully paired with a local Cabernet Franc. Molte bene!!
We chose this little resturant by chance and was very pleased.. Food was excellent as well as service. We can recommend this friendly trattoria thank you.
Stopped off for a late lunch, great price, food was freshly prepared and delicious (paninis) and friendly staff. Definitely recommend this lovely little bar/cafe/restaurant
We tried a few places for coffee and maybe an appetiser and turned away. The guys here welcomed us in and offered great service. Definitely true the melon bruschetta.
This restaurant is tourist trap. This is the worst restaurant for my Italy trip. It should have -1 star. I was really hungry when walking towards St Marco square and get dragged in by their waiter. The food is bad. Service is so so. Price...is very high. What makes me rate so badly is that they force people to pay tips, even worst is they force people to pay tips according to American standard, which is 15%. Having living in US for many years, I never get forced to pay tips in certain range, it all depends on service and I pay for how satisfy I am for their services. I never have the waiter standing next and ask me to pay tips in certain range. Not to mention this is Italy, you pay tips for only for excellent services. This restaurant is really ruining my vacation mood. Their Tiramisu is like putting 10 lbs of sugar in it. Their clams are tasteless. And their price is very high. Avoid this restaurant. I feel like other good reviews are given by their friends. There is no way of such quality of food + mandatory tips can earn such level of rating.More
