Bit disappointed with the food in this highly rated restaurant- it was no better than average at best. (At worst a bit below par) When seated we were presented with an extremely cluttered menu that was bordering on indecipherable, despite being in English. There was...More

I would say maybe even in Italy but we have reservations at our favorite restaurants across other cities over the next 2 weeks. We shared calamari/fried fish as starter to share and each had the lobster pasta and the seafood pasta. The flavors were mouth...More

We ate here 4 weeks ago. We had a reservation which helped as there was a line at 7pm. The staff were very friendly, the food excellent and very reasonable. I will return in the future!

We were really looking forward to eating here based on the reviews. We went and joined the already long queue which wasn’t a problem. The very stressed looking waitress then came over, snatched a menu from another waiting couple saying ‘my menu’, implying the menus...More

Fantastic food, fantastic service! Make sure you make a reservation early because this place blows up with how busy it is. It is really enjoyed by the locals which lead us to here. Really glad we stopped, would recommend.

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

You will need to book in advance because it is very popular place and fills up quickly. As an alternative you could try Ristorante Africa on the Lido. I found this place on our last day and had a geat meal. Monk fish to... More

You should call the restaurant well in advance to make the arrangement; the premises should be able to accommodate your request. This restaurant is quiet popular with visitor and it is spacious enough to accommodate a party... More
