We have eaten twice there. Nice and Quite terrace. Well served with appropriate staff. We recommend whenever it's possible booking by "The Fork". I have eaten very good seafood pasta negra, after a very cooled spritz, hum lovely.

Quiet location, lots of room inside and in the atrium. Reasonable priced, very good service, excellent wine, plenty of choice. Would recommend.

We were hosted in this hotel for three days, and in two of them we had dinner there. The kind of food is traditional italian, well prepared. We really enjoyed the pasta dishes. The prices are not high (below the average in Venice), and if...More

Lovely restaurant with inside or outside dining. Extensive menu of freshly prepared Venetian food, the pasta here is gorgeous. The deserts were disappointing though although a lot of Italian restaurants buy their deserts in so you'll find the ready prepared ice creams, cheesecakes and tirimasu....More

Stumbled upon this place and glad we did. Off the beaten track but location is good nonetheless. Food good and atmosphere perfect for a summer evening meal.

Despite stereotypes that you can't eat GF in Italy, I actually found a lot of marked GF options on menus where we visited, but many of them were salads, meats or seafood--which is fine, but when your husband, daughter and son-in-law are all ordering pasta,...More

We crossed over from San Marco and then looked for somewhere to have a drink and snack. Finding this was a pleasant surprise.

I really enjoyed my dinner(s) at this restaurant. The waitress suggested foods for us to try, which we both loved, and the service was excellent. We went back for another dinner the night before we left because we enjoyed the experience so much. We ate...More

We ate here by chance one evening and were very happy with the food, pace of service, staff assistance, and quality of the food. Good value for the money and a fine selection of wines. Definitely worth a visit.

Description
Sea and land, refined and varied: the Venetian food and wine tradition is a heritage to be discovered. To brighten up your stay with the “delicatessen” of traditional Venetian cuisine, the Messner Restaurant offers you an intimate and private atmosphere. Either in the large air-conditioned indoor hall or in the charming heated garden with private dock on the canal, you can taste a wide selection of meat, fish or vegetarian dishes. The restaurant menu offers seasonal recipes, prepared daily by our chefs. The wine list offers excellent Venetian and Friulan specialties, specially selected to enhance each course.
