Really great menu choices. We had the sharing plate, lasagne, cheeseburger (with the best fried onions!) and tiramisu all washed down with a tasty wine. Staff are lovely, service perfect, food delicious with lots of thought and care. There is a lack of vegan restaurants...in Venice but even if there were more, we'd go back to La Tecia; really lovely evening. Word of advice: you do need to book.More

we were looking to try italian vegetarian food and the online reviews said to try this restaurant. it was actually the second recommendation but the first place didn’t have any bookings; this place you need reservations but they only answer the phone when they are...open. The restaurant is nice and service and food delivery is very quick; portions are generous as well. we ordered the gnocchi and the mushroom ravioli. both were decent in terms of portion but needed a bit more flavor - the food was a bit bland and did not showcase the flavor of the ingredients. out of the two, the gnocchi had a better flavoring it’s a decent place but would only recommend if you are in the areaMore

After seeing the positive reviews for this restaurant, I was extremely excited to come and try the vegan delights! The staff were lovely and I was very impressed with the house red, but myself and my wife were so disappointed with the food. We had...the ravioli and lasagna, followed by the burger and goulash. I love to support vegan establishments and I truly wish this restaurant all the best but I cannot understand the positive reviews for this place. I can only assume they had a bad night. The starters and goulash were extremely bland and the burger was so dry and unpleasant, it was almost inedible (althought the potatoes it came with were very nice). I have looked at photos for the positive reviews and the roast gravy for the ravioli looks a completely different colour. Also the lasagna looked completely different to other positive reviews. Unfortunately one of the worst meals we have had for a long timeMore

We made reservations for our last night in Italy at La Tecia Vegana. The restaurant is small and away from the city center and was easy to get to on a water taxi. Our server was friendly and helpful. I ordered the black and white...ravioli stuffed with porcini mushrooms and seitan, served with cashew nuts and roast gravy, excellent. The restaurant was the perfect ending for our trip.More

DISAPPOINTING! Based on positive reviews of this establishment, my partner and I decided to save a visit for a last meal in Venice. Alas, a mistake. While the ambience is quite pleasant and inviting, the food is another matter. Appetizers: Russa - Essentially a somewhat...dressed up version of potato salad. Melanzane Saor - If you love pickled onions you'll love this dish because that is, essentially, all it is. Any flavor the eggplant might provide is lost in the pickled onions. Main Dishes: Ravioli - My partner liked this (6 ravioli) and enjoyed the "gravy" that the ravioli are covered in. Arrosto Seitan - If you've had Tofurkey's Holiday Roll then you've had this dish. I honestly thought that this is what they were serving albeit dressed up a bit with some sautéed mushrooms and "that gravy" again. Really disappointing. Desserts: Torte nocciole - the slice of cake was okay though decidedly dry. Bombetta di Ciaccolato - These "chocolate bombs" are simply a pair of chocolate truffles. It would have been nice if this was more clearly stated. Oh, and there was a "coperto" charged for each of us. Don't know whether it was just the "standard" service charge or if they were applying it to the surprisingly lousy bread that was provided w/o our request. The service was fine and, again, the ambience was nice however the food left a LOT TO BE DESIRED. SighMore

I truly appreciated the variety of options. Everything seems delicious! I got ravioli as main dish and cannolo as dessert. Simply amazing! I also ordered a caffè made from cicoria and tarassaco. Very nice taste, like caramel. The staff is friendly. The location is lovely.

Absolutely a treat! My boyfriend and I travelled to Venice and looked to support vegan eateries. This was the only one so off we go! We ordered the ravioli and gnocchi. Excellent! It is a little bit off the beaten path in a quieter neighborhood...but easy to get to via water bus. We made reservations so we had no issues. The restaurant filled quickly and many people were turned away. Make reservations, you won't regret it!More

The food was quite good except for "The burger" which had quite dry lentils as a patty that fell apart easily. I think redoing the patty by mixing the lentils with some more exciting ingredients that fit the salad of the burger like red beet...and using some sort of binder to create a more vibrant look and a better texture would help a lot. The vegan tiramisu and the gazpacho were especially good nothing else to say about that. Otherwise one cannot argue that the service was great and really accomandating. The drinks that were served were surprisingly tasty; we had bitter spritz that was served traditionally with an olive and orange, the cola had a bit of lemon taste that was really refreshing. All in all a recommendation for all vegans and vegetarians.More

The service was very kind and friendly and offered us a table despite us not having a reservation. Seats are available in- and outside. Bread was served as an appetizer; the serving time of the main dishes was around 10 minutes. Most notably, the food...was predominantly home made from non-processed ingredients. Thus, we would rate the taste 4 stars yet the immense skills and love entailed with cooking the dishes made it a 5 star experience. We ordered the lasagne and potato gnocchi which were both incredibly tasty. We would definitely recommend you to try it!More

Ordered the eggplant main and the pad Thai main. Both great! It’s nice to eat some vegan food in Venice that isn’t marinara bruchietta or tomato pasta. The peach ice tea was also delicious!

Lovely restaurant - service was really friendly and the food was good. We struggled to find many veggie options in Venice so enjoyed having a choice here. Would recommend booking as they were turning people away when we went. Price was also very reasonable considering...it was Venice.More

The vegan burger is homemade of lentils. They make a gnocchi with vegan cheeses, and the appetisers are outstanding also. Also the vegan truffle balls for dessert are highly recommended, and the service was first class.

We went here with our family (all vegan) and took the Waterbus from Murano for a LONG time, maybe 1.5 hrs because we had to transfer buses. Our kids were starving! Luckily we got there 40 minutes before the restaurant closed. We asked for a...table for 5 and they told us that they decided to close the kitchen early. We tried to plea for our hungry kids, but that didn’t work. We could only do take away… mind you this place is in a secluded area. We had to walk back to the bus station and eat there with the two forks they provided our family of 5. The food was good, but kinda ruined our last night in Venice.More
