Found this place by accident and then a day later our bnb host also happened to suggest this place which is indicative of it's fame within the local community. My host also mentioned about a guitar player but we didn't see him. On the night...More

We stumbled onto this restaurant while trying to beat the crowds and sun in Venice. The gnocchi was ‘melt in your mouth’ beautiful. If you love gnocchi then you have to give it a try.

There are plenty of places to eat on the Via Garbaldi, all tastes and prices. But, this is where the locals book! Wonderful service from this family run operation; loved it.

Good food and atmosphere, away from the bigger crowds but when we wanted to pay we were charged €10,50 for three espressos we had after dessert. An ‘error’, so we were told. A pity, if it wouldn’t for this screw-a-tourist-move I could recommend this place..

All three of our meals were perfect, the ambience was wonderful as was the singing and the staff were so friendly. Would love to visit again. Worth taking a phrase book as not all staff speak English which only adds to the authenticity.
