This place did not live up to our expectations. We found the cicchetti here very poor (there are much better places for cicchetti nearby). On the evening we were there, the service was unfriendly. More worryingly, there was no respect for social distancing. A few...minutes after we arrived a group of at least ten people crowded into this tiny bar and stood near the counter. Not all of them were even wearing masks. The staff made no attempt to deal with this. We left immediately.More

This place is amazing! Best steak ever ❤️ atmosfere is nice, friendly staff and this little street is very cozy because locals sit on boats and bridges with friends having a drink. This street offers the best places in town to eat!

Went here after looking for a place to get some steak online and wasn’t left disappointed, the food was excellent and would definitely come back, great portions and worth what we paid!

Busy Friday night in Venice post corona. We walk by 'Al Timon' and ask if it is possible to reserve a table in an hour. Unfortunately not but you can stand in line, order a drink at the bar and wait outside for a table...if you like. The weather was good so why not. As we were a group of 5 we understand it takes a while to get a table on a busy night. After about 45 minutes another group of six (rich looking locals) arrives with a lot of commotion asking for a table. The waiter explains them that the line is outside and they can wait just like anyone else. 5 minutes later we see a typical Italian bribe right in front of us. Nothing really happend but at the moment a table of 4 left, a chair was brought outside. We were hungry and happy we would finally get seated. Obviously it wasn't our table. The six bribers took a seat and started their evening. I'm not really difficult but this just frustrating. After spending already over €40 on drinks while waiting it's quite frustrating to see this happen right in front of you. The waiter 'misunderstood' and thought I was just waiting for a table for 2 instead of 5. The fact that several other tables of 2 were already seated during the time we were waiting didn't matter apparently. Even after waiting for an hour at this point we turned around and left. I've seen a lot of things but this just ain't the way you do business. Except when you are in Venice ...More

Nice and trendy place. The finger food was however not what we hoped for. too simple and not tasteful. Meat was good. Service was good. For us an average experience

We had ragu and gnocci to start, lamb and ribs as a main and then tiramisu to finish. The food was superb and we could not complain about anything. The service was good and the staff were friendly. If we go back to Venice again...then we will definitely have to go back!More

WORTH EVERY EURO!!! $81.00 USD with two sodas. The Steak Fiorentina is delicious! It’s a great spot to dine right on the canal with a beautiful view, but we chose to sit inside for dinner because it was quite cold that evening. The Fiorentina was...served rare at every place we had it in Italy. They do not like to and in most cases will not prepare it any other way even if you ask nicely. Lol My husband and I both prefer our steaks cooked much longer than this, but once you get it, you will not care. It’s just so very good!More

The place is very cozy and the staff is very friendly and willing to have a funny conversation with you. They have various selection of nice wines that you can taste per glass and choose the cicchetti to eat on the side. Cicchetti are: Small...slices of bread with original ingredients on top, from tasty cheeses with mortadella to nice combinations with anchovies and smoked salmon. Thay also serve big patterns with amazing meat and really tasty sides like potatoes and vegetables. I'm hungry only thinking about it 😵 Un saluto dal ragazzo che ha buttato fuori il cagnolino, la grappa era buonissima. Grazie 👌🏻More

Excellent place for cichetti. Very reasonably priced and good atmosphere. Used by local residents which is always a good sign

Great place for a spritz and to watch the world go by. It’s a lovely neighbourhood and the path outside is lovely and wide to sit out on. Didn’t eat here this time but would definitely go back. Very reasonable prices.

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying

for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

We arrived right when they opened the restaurant. For one hour, they only serve the bread and meats. As soon as we got there, they made us a reservation for dinner. We did not have any previous contact info for them!
