I visited while travelling alone on business. Thank you, Tio Pepe for making me feel so welcome and comfortable, despite being by myself. The food was excellent - you choose a fish or meat menu and then get a series of typical Sardinian dishes, all beautifully cooked and presented. Highly recommended.

Friendly service, very little English, amazing seafood, no written menu... The restaurant is in slightly seedy neighborhood, right outside of city center. Recommended.

This is one of the best restaurant experiences we ever had!!!! we stumbled into this place by accident in 2014 and where blown away by the hospitality and the quality of the food. although the owner hardly speaks any english, we felt we're taken care of extremely well. The quality of the food is second to none - in fact... More

Fantastic food and attentive service. The owner is crazy and goes out of his way yo make everyone feel welcome. As already said by some reviewers no menu...just go with it and enjoy...not cheap 50-60e per person with drinks but so worth it!

This place is a little off the beaten track and well worth the effort to find it. The owner and his wife greet you like long lost friends and that it just the beginning of the experience. The food is very good, we had a table of eight and some chose the meat menu and some the fish. There isn't... More

We arrived and were the first ones here. It's a husband and wife that run the place and they speak very little English but enough that we didn't have too many issues. You pick meat or seafood and then they bring you 7 different courses. Be aware that they ask you what kind of wine you want and they bring... More

From the moment we walked in - we knew we were in for a bizarre & fun evening - with the owner acting as clown, host, waiter & chef (although his wife does most of the cooking). There is no menu - they just start bringing out different appetizers until you say STOP, then the pasta arrived, then a main... More

We had great time in this restaurant !Not only the food was great presented and in a way innovative approached but the chef was acting while interacting with the guests. Have a night there if you like to experience some great food served in arty way.

Maybe I am just a bit jaded. Maybe the food is great and the Owner/Chefs are fun to be with. Maybe I keep coming back for more...... Yes, I still go back to this restaurant when I have a chance. It is pricey and there is no written menu. You choose a meat or fish direction for the meal. And... More

Over the years, some of the best meals I've eaten in Italy have been in restaurants with no menu, and only local wine. So, you can see why, on reading about Tio Pepe in Padua, I was keen to visit. The deal is, you opt for either a fish/seafood based offer, or the meat option. When I asked for the... More
