The taste is indescribable. Simply the best. This place gave me a very good impression and a memory of my life. :) If you visit Padova, you have to go there.

We must have walked past a dozen gelaterias on route to La Romana. The line was out the door and curved down the sidewalk on a wonderful Friday evening. This establishment was one of the most efficiently run places I have seen in the city. The line moved quickly and steadily even with the multitude of choices you can make... More

Literally, could not have asked for better gelato! First, you have to decide whether you want milk chocolate or white chocolate in the bottom of your waffle cone. Then you get to choose two flavors. I recommend the hazelnut with white chocolate (cannot get enough) and the biscotti Della nonna! The prices are great too! the crepes looked amazing and... More

Went here many times for gelato, sampling across Northern Italy to find the best one's.This is in Padua Italy. They put liquid chocolate in cone, white or dark to start and ask if want creme to top off your scoops of gelato,2.5 euros/2 scoops.Lines can be long!

Unique and amazing flavors-loved the fig and caramel. Not expensive at all, great value for your euro. There is typically a line but moves rather quickly. We went both nights we were in Padova. A must visit

This is located outside the main city center, however only a few minutes by foot. a great variety of flavors and all of them are so good! You'll find people waiting in line for this, and it's totally worth it!

Lovely ice cream in more than a dozen amazing flavours. The queue tends to be on the long side: a sign of a good place to which I returned several times during the few days I was in Padua.

I have been testing Italian ice cream this week and this is the best so far. A good choice of flavours and a high quality. If I lived here I would be fat!

If you want a REAL ice cream, well you have found it here. Try the granita too, fantastico!!! My favourite is with peaches or pink grapefruit.

Description
La Romana gelato parlour was born in the heart of the historic centre of Rimini in 1947, receiving the name of the founder's daughter. A few years later Vito Zucchi, progenitor of the family, took over the enterprise. Thanks to his fervent creativity and the use of a few ingredients then available, he created a wide range of high-quality flavours which are still made in our stores today. For this reason, we offer traditional flavours made exclusively with selected products, following old recipes of the past.
