First of all, I am usually not a very healthy eater. Since being in Italy for over a week, I have overdosed on pasta. Tonight, my wife and I tried the Tea Room. I had what may have been the best salad I've ever had (tuna with lots of other good stuff and a fantastic dressing) and my wife had... More

My partner and I decided NOT to take the hotel receptionist's advice to dine at restaurant located in Prato della Valle, a tourist hotspot in the city centre. We did not need to veer much to discover this little gem of an eatery in Via XX Settembre, Padua. Sottosopra is frequented by locals, usually a positive sign of what's on... More

This place is great for a quiet afternoon tea as well as for lunch/dinner. The location is super central, just a 5 mins walk from prato della valle and a stone's throw from the beautiful via roma, and the ghetto... loved it! the tea selection is massive, the food great and the staff english speaking. Downside: we had some trouble... More

Food was amble, fresh and tasty. Service great! Ambiance clean, comfortable, quite and calming. And great tea choices if you are inclined. Dined here twice!

This is the favourite place I normally go with my husband when we are in Padua. The owners are extremely kind, there is a huge selection of salads with delicious ingredients, wine and grappa are also really good. In summer it is possible to seat outside enjoing the nice piazza xx settembre.

I have been there in both summer and winter and it's a wonderful place with great italian and popular cuisine. It's interior, warm and welcoming, an absolute must for having tea or coffee in company with friends. I also enjoyed the food, I had a 'pasticcio' last time and it was delicious. I can tell they take cuisine seriously by... More

Nice place with large selection of exotic tea which you can accompany with tasty cakes, but not only. You can also enjoy a good glass of wine and a variety of salad, while you listening to the relaxing music. And lucky for me, the staff speak English.
