We arrived at this place by accident has hit us very nice and the atmosphere. We savored and enjoyed typical Venetian dishes revisited with imagination.Great wine.but the host ... is not exactly unfriendly, but not friendly either. Quite aloof on the verge of being unpleasant.

What a fantastic night at this wonderful restaurant. Dynamic menu that rewards those keen to explore local and traditional dishes. Great vibe and a drinks list to match. And to cap it off, a charming host with a rare, dry sense of humour and a true generosity of spirit .Thanks for sharing your restaurant, local cuisine (and explaining your handwritten... More

I came to this restaurant through a friend while visiting Padova. A rather warm atmosphere - like eating at your grandmothers house - with a delicious cuisine. The menu wasn't that big, but everything we ordered tasted good and above all it wasn't your typical tourist-attraction-food. The house wine we got was exceptional too. I have to warn those interested... More

I was told it used to be a historical place in Padova, where students from the nearby university used to hang out and eat for cheap. Well, not the case any longer. It's now a relatively sophisticated restaurant, which still holds the charm and the vibe of the good old times. But that's about it. The owner, unlikely most people... More

The trattoria was strongly recommended by a local host and did not disappoint. Menu is relatively small (always a good point) but varied; food local and excellent; service warm, efficient and with good advice; decor unpretentious, nice and welcoming with dim lights. One of our best meals of whole our week in the Venetian region.

I live abroad, but every time I come to visit my old friends, in Padua I want to eat at "Le nane della Giulia ", Cosy atmosphere and many veggie choices. Last time I had "arrosto di lenticchie rosse" delicious.

This place is not just another osteria. Here the ambience make the difference. You will get hook by the atmosphere first and by the throat later on. The menu is handwritten and this tells a lot. A special eye on the quality and variety of all regional products. You can also visit the place to attend one of the many... More

There was a religious parade in the centre so many restaurants were closed so we went back here. It's great. I love the handwritten menu of local, freshly cooked dishes. We had different antipasti, all delicious, particularly the guacamole. We chose the chicken stew & horse steak afterwards. The steak was vast with polenta creamy, and the chicken was slow... More

We were taken here by our daughter who Ives in Padova and had been here before. It's a small, traditional trattoria in one of the back streets near to the university. The menu was handwritten and had only a few choices for starters and main courses (it changes regularly) One of the staff was very helpful and was able to... More
