After reading the previous reviews on TripAdvisor we have chosen this restaurant because of the intriguing dishes. We were four people with three kids who were neither too noisy nor too silent...We have been welcomed with a glass of local white wine (always an appreciated and friendly way to welcome customers), and a large spoon with fonduta (for the kids)... We arrived in Courmayeur around 1930 in search of a different restaurant, ended up not being able to find that restaurant in the dark but saw Al Camin at the end of a small street, took a look at the menu and were completely hooked - charming area, local products, and professional staff. Very welcoming, helpful, and generous. Numerous daily... More

A very nice restaurant. Local food and super service. We had local trout tartar and deer-on-the-grill .... finishing with lemon sorbet. Real fresh, and excellent wine - Barbaresco☺ . Strongly recomended!!!!

We were welcomed into a lovely downstairs room where our reserved table for 7 was waiting and immediately given a free half litre of house white and an amuse bouche of soup. Service from there was very good, though a bit theatrical, and the staff explained all the specials in English. We had a young boy with us and the... More

Third visit in last 4 years, we had again high expectations. And we were not disappointed. Try chateaubriand signature dish. And leave some room for desert. Wines are great, including house wine. Good value for money. We hope to be back soon!

The service here from owners is top notch. Very friendly, authentic in terms of wanting guests to enjoy their time in the restaurant. Good wine selection and fabulous meat entrees including chateau briand. It's a bit of a walk from center but worth it.

This restaurant is slightly out of the centre. But very close to our hotel It is recommended for its meat The whole menu was a little quality but every dish we had was really excellent. Staff were very friendly and the kids menu was fun and their food was also of really high quality. Service was a litre chaotic but... More

We were delighted with the excellent cuisine and great service in this Alpine restaurant! Complimentary glass of Verdicchio wine on aperitif and different kind of digestives, sometime free appetizer angus carpaccio and some time pumpkin or peas cream-soups were also offered, the bill was reasonable each of 3 times. The cozy interior is filled with lovely details. Service on hight... More

We arrived a little earlier than our 7:30pm booking to find ourselves the only guests but it turned out the restaurant was not really opened for service yet but the owner gave us a warm welcome and a glass of verdichio each. The specials are worth trying. We had a raw seafood appertizer which essentially was prawn and crayfish sashimi... More
