Over the past years, when staying in the Valle d'Aosta, we got to know la Vineria as the nicest and best place in town to have a light lunch, have a nice glass of wine or buy wines to take home with us. The center of the success is off course its owner Laura and Filippo who are both very... More

We went there just to have a light evening meal. An extremely kind waitress gave us so many suggestions that we were in real problems what to choose. She also offered us some of their wines. We tried two different red wines and both were very excellent. Highly recommended.

This is the best place for a leisurely lunch or a pre-dinner appetizer and drinks. We have been twice (different years) and if you want to sample local meats, cheeses, and wines, this is the place. A wonderful selection of wines to bring home or enjoy on a picnic. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

We enjoyed it so much that we visited twice during our short stay. Excellent wine by the glass. Good variety in the cold meat platter. The owners were very obliging and friendly.

Located in the old centre of Aoste, you won't resist to its simple but excellent menu. We had delicatessen, cheese, a very good salad. Then, for dessert, a home-made cherry pie and an excellent coffee. The service was particularly friendly and prices are really cheap. And, last but not least, the boutique is also full of wines, spices, and many... More

Not wanting to visit another road side diner we pulled off the highway and looked for the old part of the centre of town. Whilst it has limited menu, the quality and taste is superb. The wines were excellent with a good choice of local and other wines. Great service with good English and speedy. And given what we've paid... More

go with time because they have such a variety of local wines that you need time to enjoy them (not all :). The service is really nice, they serve you an apero with the wine. The place is well decorated, super charming it make you feel like if you are inside a cave.

This cosy place has a nice selection of wines by the glass- the friendly hostess has an encyclopedic knowledge of the ones on the shelf as well and is happy to make recommendations. You get a little platter of cheeses and sliced meats along with- makes for a very pleasant start to the evening.
