This restaurant truly lived up to its Tripadvisor reviews. Excellent food, excellent service. We ate outdoors on a lovely street lined by the fortresses old town walls. Standout menu items were duck ragu, bruschetta, and cold meat and cheese plate. Menu pricing was also very...good. €10-12 for pasta plate. Would highly recommend.More

We happened upon the restaurant while walking the city and the menu looked good, so we made reservations. The restaurant is cozy, with a nice interior. The service was attentive and friendly. There is an English menu. The food was very good. Between us we...had a burrata, tortellini with eggplant filling, veal with mustard/chive sauce & chicken in a savory sauce. All were excellent. The wine list, while not too extensive, features wines of the region and covers all the bases. The atmosphere is cordial and welcoming. We made a good choice!More

We arrive rather late but had call in advance to ask if the kitchen was still open. We were greated with great hospitality and treated to local delicacies of the rare sort! The staff made us feel comfortable and at ease althought we were the...last guests and they were about to close. A great place for a dinner date or an evening with your family in style.More

Patelli is a beautiful restaurant in Trento's city center that offers an elegant atmosphere and a wide variety of menu options. My wife and I along with our two young children visited the restaurant for dinner one weeknight and were welcomed with opened arms. The...gentleman who I presume is the owner, spoke English (always a slight relief) and was very friendly. My wife and I ordered the mushroom risotto and it was delicious, while our children ate pasta pomodoro. The pasta pomodoro was not actually on the menu but they were able to accommodate our request. The only negative I have is that the bread was not very good; simple and dry. Other then that I would be happy to return here in the future and be able to enjoy a complete dinner with either my wife or a group of close friends.More

I had to give this a score of 5, although that doesn't mean it is the best restaurant in Trento. I often wish ther were seperate categories for scoring as well as searching. Anyway as a Trattoria I definitely score this 5/5. However, having chosen...to dine late and not having booked anywhere we failed to get into a few that we had pre-selected on TA. (We were new to Trento) This place was packed so we were definitley a second sitting but the owner was so welcoming and authoratitive that we had no choice but to sit down! The food was good hearty local cuisine, not the best I've had but tasty and good value. The wine selection too was pretty good and not too expensive. I would wholeheartedly recommend it and just love to see such a well run establishment. The owner was on the door and his wife (co-owner!) was in the main restaurant overseeing everything there. It had such a lovely authentic feel.More

Probably the best pasta we've tried so far in Italy. Apart from that, this restaurant has some of the things I like the most: a classic yet charming atmosphere, good, traditional and non pretentious food at a very reasonable prices.

Creative & delicious dishes include a chicken cutlet with pistachio sauce, and tagliatelle pasta with seaweed & crab sauce and brandied shrimp. The owner’s graciousness added to the experience.

The best restaurant in town, at the central part. where it is nearby the parking place, near the old wall side, and the central shopping street. the Patelli runs by the Patelli family, that is also an important family in Trento city for years of...history. Their cousin is simply chic and delicious. You can try all the typical local food with a high michellin level touch by their chef. highly recommended for whom just need a lunch break, or all the tourist that need to try the typical local food. The Canederli and the Strudel are the 2 must try!More

In a restaurant that run by husband and wife, who are attentive to every request and desire of customers, the only choice is to be an happy customer. We arrived at the restaurant by chance without any prior knowledge, and found one of the gastronomic pearls...we had ever come across. The restaurant owner is a real Italian, a kind man with a lot of respect for food, place, himself, staff, and of course the guests. It was a good experience, one that takes away, and there is no doubt that we will return.More

Looking for somewhere open on a Monday evening in Trento we discovered this gem of a restaurant. Family run but with professional service and great food. We both had pasta for the main course and it was some of the best pasta we have eaten....Home made and perfectly cooked. The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is obviously a favourite with the locals.More
