We just had a short break at Arnikahütte for a drink, which was OK, though somewhat pricey. Other locations like Tschötsch-Alm have the more spectacular views.

A great stop on a mountain hike, this warm and traditional mountain chalet-style restaurant is appealing in all respects. Good, traditional offerings and friendly service. A welcome respite!

Prior to our stop mid-hike at Arnikahutte, the best meal we had eaten at a rifugio was at Rifugio Averau, near Cortina D'Ampezzo. This was on a par. There were plenty of people already stopped here, eating out on the very large terrace, but it didn't take very long for our orders to be taken and meals delivered. Between us... More

Nice location. The menu was good - a lot of food to select. The food was really good - big portions.

We were very thirsty so the German beer was delicious. The menu had a lot of interesting choices; hard to decide. The restaurant was very busy so service was slow but so well worth it. Musicians were playing upbeat music; the outdoor seating is picturesque.

We stopped here mid-hike for a much needed lunch and the mixed meat & cheese platter with a basket of bread did the job very nicely. I think with some soft drinks it was about 16 Euros, very good value.

At the top of the Puflatsch (Bullaccia) ski run is this small restaurant/hut, offering a wide choice of local fare. Ski down from the top of the "Kleine Hexe" tow lift. Great to drop in for lunch or a drink. Friendly service. The ski-doo will take you back to the top of the hill (for 2 Euro), back on to... More

Have visited in summer and in winter.Easily accessible via hiking trails (summer & winter) and ski runs. Good, comfort food, beer & wine. Some indoor seatings but lots of outdoor picnic benches. International Clientel. Very busy both times of year. Great local, traditional atmosphere.

Our walking tour group stopped twice here in one day. The first stop was to fortify ourselves with well-made cappuccino and fabulous house-made apple strudel. After our strenuous hike, we returned for a late lunch. I had a lovely light omelet. Others had lasagna or sausage. The house white wine was cold and crisp. Service was friendly. Definitely worth a... More
