We went to this restaurant and it was good. I had potato dumplings as an appetizer and they were delicious. My main meal consisting of a salad was nothing special. However, if you like beer, try their Batzen beer, it was excellent. Service was very good.

A really nice place just outside the old town of Bolzano. They serve their own beers (which are great) and the food is also excellent. It had a really nice atmosphere and is just an excellent place to spend your evening.

Bit disappointed by food and service compared with other eateries eg Star gourmet Italian burgers opposite the Neptune fountain.

As a weary, stranded traveler in Bolzano (thanks to an ill-timed strike that put the kibosh on my first ever sleeper car experience), making my way to Rome, I decided to pay a visit to Batzen Bräu and the Batzen Häusl for a meal and a sample of fine South Tyrolean micro-brew. It was a Saturday night, warm and CROWDED!... More

One of the oldest breweries in town, the Batzehäusel is a good idea for a traditional dish and of course a couple of beers. Prices are pretty fair and in summer time you can just sit in front and enjoy the warm sun. Try out!

The restaurant is adequate both for cold and warm times. It has beautiful rooms inside (1. floor) and a biergarten (terrace). The place brews its own beer, which is delicious. Don't miss the chance to be there.

We visited when it was raining so it was very crowded inside. The staff helped find a seat for our large group and the service was awesome. Everyone in our group loved their meal. The menu has a good variety of options. Would definitely visit again!

We really loved this brewery with typical food! The atmosphere was great, you can check the brewery machines, they serve super typical sausages nothing at all like the italian dishes. This is a place to really confirm that "I am about to cross the austrian border" feelling that all of Bozen holds.

This was recommended to us by front desk clerk at our hotel. It was out of the main town in a residential area. Well worth the wandering to find. We sat at the bar. Placed was filled with locals, most of them students and young professionals. Make their own beer - we are huge IPA fans and they have an... More
