It is a nice place, especially during the warm period when you are able to sit outside. With the good beer, awesome ribs and very nice deserts. Servise is nice and fast, with knowledge of several different languat (English, Italian, German, Franch, Spanish, there are also some weighers that know some of languate from middle east). Very often you will... More

We didn't have much time in Bolzano but we had wanted to search a craft beer stop. Batzen Brau has many draft and bottle beers to choose from and we enjoyed trying the local brews. We also shared appetizer of Tyrolean Cheese Dumplings and a Sausage plate, both good but large portions. There is indoor and outdoor seating and its... More

I had the local IPA, which was excellent, to accompany the beer noodles with chicken, which was a bit too chewy and not very flavorful, but acceptable. Service was good and prices reasonable.

We went to this restaurant and it was good. I had potato dumplings as an appetizer and they were delicious. My main meal consisting of a salad was nothing special. However, if you like beer, try their Batzen beer, it was excellent. Service was very good.

A really nice place just outside the old town of Bolzano. They serve their own beers (which are great) and the food is also excellent. It had a really nice atmosphere and is just an excellent place to spend your evening.

Bit disappointed by food and service compared with other eateries eg Star gourmet Italian burgers opposite the Neptune fountain.

As a weary, stranded traveler in Bolzano (thanks to an ill-timed strike that put the kibosh on my first ever sleeper car experience), making my way to Rome, I decided to pay a visit to Batzen Bräu and the Batzen Häusl for a meal and a sample of fine South Tyrolean micro-brew. It was a Saturday night, warm and CROWDED!... More

One of the oldest breweries in town, the Batzehäusel is a good idea for a traditional dish and of course a couple of beers. Prices are pretty fair and in summer time you can just sit in front and enjoy the warm sun. Try out!

The restaurant is adequate both for cold and warm times. It has beautiful rooms inside (1. floor) and a biergarten (terrace). The place brews its own beer, which is delicious. Don't miss the chance to be there.
