While strolling around Bolzano on a busy Friday evening, we happened upon this restaurant at the end of the piazza delleErbe, which had closed up the open air market for the day. The street was crowded with local college students, drinking, and catching up with friends. At the end of the heavy traffic area was Restaurant Anita. We received an... More

The restaurant doesn't look extremely appealing from the outside, the first room has some tables (often occupied by locals) at one side and a bar at the other, the back room is nicer and warm, with wooden traditional furniture. The food is really good, my favourites are the spinach and cheese knodel (with plenty of butter and parmesan cheese) and... More

Our party of seven, including two excellent Bavarian cooks, enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. We chose the specials that were recommended and they were really delicious. We enjoyed local beers and wines and our friend really enjoyed her calf's head dish that was like a beef cheek thing that is quite trendy here in Australia now! Superbly cooked fresh seasonal... Anita is a mix of Italian and German food with outdoor and indoor seating. The food was tasteful and the service was excellent. I really recommend this restaurant! :-)

We ate here on our last night in Bolzano. All the outside tables were taken but actually it was pleasant to sit inside where it was a bit more of a relaxed vibe. We shared a mixed plate of Tyrolean meat and cheese, which was ok but nothing special. Then my wife had carbonara and I went for the gnocchi... More

Great Place for simple yet local and tasty dinner. I was lucky to get a table walking in without a reservation. Felt welcome although I was coming solo. Try the Soup as a starter and then go with the Speck and Cheese Platter, I can recommend it !

Outdoor and indoor seating near the market. The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. There is a pleasing mix of Italian and German food offerings on the menu.

I recently visited Anita Restaurant for a quick lunch while in Bolzano on business. Anita's is nicely decorated in the Austrian/German Stube (parlor) style; having wood floors, heavy wood tables and chairs/benches for seating. It was an inviting atmosphere. Anita's seemed to be quite popular, both with locals and visitors, as they serve a combination of typical Italian cuisine and... More
