I was looking for a special night out with my daughter and read lots of reviews before selecting Tre Galline. Based on its popularity, I had high expectations for this restaurant. Sadly, I don't get what all the fuss is about. It's not bad, just lackluster. Instead of a cozy atmosphere, the wood paneled dining room was very brightly lit... More

Perfect place if you want to discover the traditional dishes in a very cosy venue, rather than in a osteria, where these plates are generally served. The agnolotti are excellent. Then If you are a curios person and enjoy spare parts of the animals or organs, as a main dish i would recommend the mixed boiled meat or the finanziera,... More

We didn't know what to expect from this restaurant. Some friends had loved it and others were unimpressed. Well, all I can say is that I'm very glad that we decided to go and try for ourselves. The food was amazing, truly amazing and the dishes looked (and most importantly, tasted) like works of art. Every course was a delight.... More

Went here for a business dinner and couldn't fault the restaurant in any way. The food was excellent, wine selection extensive, as were the cheese and grappa trolleys! Highly recommended and would happily return for business or pleasure .

In the Old part of Turin. Local institution. We were first in the dining room at 2000 hrs but it soon filled up with locals. Incredibly friendly staff, especially Leo front of house. Real Piedmontese cooking. Fantastic ricotta, rabit, Veal etc etc, and possibly worth going for the cheese trolley alone. 24 different cheeses all local ! An amazing charriot.... More

We got the bra sausage tart and seafood pasta as our first courses. The pasta was very bland (although it did have a nice bite) and had only 2 small pieces of prawns. For mains we ordered the braised veal cheeks in nebbiolo and a fish dish with mushrooms and blue cheese sauce. The veal cheeks were not tender enough... More

My wife and I went here to celebrate my birthday while on vacation. From the outside it's hard to verify if you're looking at a tourist trap or at the real deal. Unfortunately, reviews and ratings from sites like this seem to be less and less reliable. However, Tre Galline turned out to be the real deal. Living-room type setting,... More

There's a door bell of the restaurant, it's just like you're visiting somebody's home for dinner. The environment of the restaurant is clean and bright, some of the views are just like in an old Italian movie. The service is considering. Food is good specially the roasted duck breast. In the end, we were offered with the yellow cup dessert,... More

Absolutely delicious food at a good price. The service was attentive, waiter's recommendations were excellent, and good local wines available. There were some local dishes on the menu that were too adventurous for us, but we're so glad we chose to eat there anyways. The dining room is not modern/stylish, and during the summer it was a bit too warm,... More
