Walked into a special evening, owner's mother's birthday and she had the restaurant reserved for family and friends. After we said hello she welcomed us with open arms. Special serving of antipastos that went well with a wonderful wine that she recommended. The owner speaks...perfect English and fawned over our party. The food was delicious and the dessert even better. Highly recommend and would definitely go back. Very unique restaurant.More

We went here for a work social one evening. It is a little out of the way (15 minute drive outside the city center), but a very unique place. The service was excellent, the food was average but I am a picky eater. The appetizers...are buffet-style and there was a huge variety to choose from (the bacon wrapped plums were especially good). The meal was roast beef and it was good. The dessert was a choice of various ice creams.More

This was my second visit to this restaurant, organized through work. I enjoyed it both times! The place has a very unique atmosphere - it is family-owned and full of quirky art and antiques. The service is very good and the food delicious. I particularly...like the buffet-style appetizers so you can pick and choose from different delicacies. Everything that I've tried here has been very good and the overall experience is enjoyable. Although it is a little way out of central Turin, I like the area where this restaurant is tucked away.More

The restaurant name is fitting because the name "Il Ciacolon" means to be a talker. Well the host did just that. She is very gracious and made me feel right at home. I started off my meal with an assortment of "appetizers". You can go...up as many times that you want. The food is freshly prepared with a good variation of cured meats, fish, cheeses and vegetables all very good. For my started I choose to have Venetian style spaghetti with a pork red sauce. Also very good and fresh. For my final dish I had the pork shin roasted with potato's (very good). Of course, I made sure that I selected a nice bottle of Amarone red wine to accompany my meal. Overall great meal, great hospitality all for a reasonable price. I will definitively be back.More

At times you have an experience that you know is so unique and special that you will never forget. This didn't feel like visiting a restaurant for a meal. It was as if we had been invited to someone's beautiful home for an incredible luncheon....Frederica, the owner, personally greeted us and welcomed us into her lovely setting. She explained the menu with the most incredible array of antipasti that you serve yourself, plus prima piatti, seconde and desserts. Everything from start to finish was delicious! The restaurant was started by her mother when Frederica was a young girl. She truly carries on in the tradition that her mother started.More

A bit out of the movida, this restaurant serves typical Friuli dishes, with a great formula: excellent buffet starters + 3 types.of menu. Very traditional place and food, excellent service. A must.

Situated a bit outside Torino centre, not to far from the river bank, still a very characteristic and genuine place. An absolute must for Italian food lovers. Not for a pizza but the extreme traditional and outstanding antipasti-buffet. You have eaten enough if you only...taste form half of the dishes. The place looks like an old store: you are surrounded with the most incredible collection of excellent Grappa's, that can be bought. A very nice `italian dining experience.More
