great italian icecream

Very good ice cream, specially the ones with fruit. You have to try the strawberry flavor with lemon.

Finally went to this well known gelateria on our last day in Turin. What an amazing place. The flavors were so incredibly rich and the texture divine. I'm a huge Grom fan too and delighted it's in NY. Alberto Marchetti: when are you coming to the Big Apple?

Two words - pistachio gelato! If you are a fan of pistachio flavored gelato like I am, you must try Alberto Marcetti's pistachio. I also really enjoyed a creamy orange flavor that was so good, I can't recall the exact flavor. The ramassin was something I did not see at any other gelaterias. Torino has a lot of great gelaterias.... More

When looking for a truly genuine "gelato artigianale" or granita, a must stop place is Alberto Marchetti's. The few, well selected seasonal flavours will enchant your palate. A special suggestion: the Piedmont-endemic ramassin plum.

Our second favorite gelatto bar in Turin. Lots of choices, delicious and in the heart of Turin....We ended up stopping by on our way back to the hotel almost every night....seems like a local tradition...so many people enjoying a gelatto.

Excellent gelato. As it's so popular you may find you have to queue but it's worth the wait. On a bright, hot day you can't beat some pistacchio ice cream.

I live nearby so I can say I go to Alberto Marchetti quite often, not just because it's nearby, because it's really good. Try the dark chocolate and amarena...

This is probably the best gelateria in Italy. The place itself has a 50ies look and many many ice cream flavours. If you're not sure they offer you a try on a plastic spoon. We had ice cream here on various occasions and it was always terrific and the staff very nice.
