We booked a table well ahead for Saturday' s dinner, as this restaurant tend to get full very fast. The food, mainly Agnolotti piemontese were the best I had during our visit in Turin. The Risotto with black truffle was good, however I expected more flavour. As a main course, we had Beef with red wine, Fish with fresh French... More

Ordinarily I would not be drawn to a relatively traditional restaurant with linen table cloths and formal service, but it was the weekend and most places were busy. I am glad we did make an exception. The food was very good, with the Jerusalem artichoke ravioli with anchovy sauce a world class dish. Although traditionally formal in setting, the service... More

We were in Turin on my birthday, so I looked for a restaurant that looked special. We made a good choice in Ristorante Solferino. The service was excellent, and our server enjoyed catering to a trio of Americans while speaking excellent English. The wine list and the food were both excellent. I had the duck, which I enjoyed very much.... More

The service was great, the staff were professional and very interactive. Their food was very simple in terms of presentation but tasted great. We got 'minced raw beef with truffles' (which is essentially tartar) for the starter. It was very tender and was seasoned well. The truffles were fresh and tasted great. Their fried egg in cheese with truffles was... More

I was there for dinner with my boyfriend, we booked the table just one hour in advance. The manager was really honest telling us that it could have been noisy since they had a couple of big groups. However, the table was nice and not that loud. The service was really good, our waiter was attentive and professional with a... More

This is not a restaurant to find the traditional list of Pizza and pata. It serves food based on the local Piedmont traditions, and it had a great choice for all courses. We had a thouroughly enjoyable meal supported by efficient and friendly staff. Only one word of caution - the wine is expensive - one bottle of their mid... More

This is a mediocre restaurant. The food's not bad but it's hard to get a bad meal in Torino. Unlike other restaurants in town they served nothing that I would want to eat again. The ambiance is bad. They seated my wife and me in a narrow, noisy back room with a view of the toilet. And we made a... More

We highly anticipated our visit to this Torino restaurant, especially because we had read fabulous reviews on Trip Advisor. We arrived and were seated in an overheated, crowded, noisy side room with a direct view of the WC.. The service went down hill after the warm greeting from the hostess. The waiter and waitress were polite - when they bothered... More

Went to celebrate a birthday. We were entertained to a typical Piedmont meal. Tasted for the first time White Truffle with a plate of pasta, enjoyed it thoroughly. That was followed by a nice dish of Braised Veal. This was a special meal and we paid a special price but worth it.
