This Eataly is around the corner from the congress and hotel center Lingotto. It was my introduction to the fabulous Italian food store/eat-in emporium. This one in Turin in comparison to the one we visited in Genoa is quite large and extensive with many food stations (seafood, pasta, cold cuts etc..) and sections for cheese, wine, pastas and other products.... There was no way that we were going to be staying in Turino that evening and would miss the opportunity to visit the original Eataly. Now we have been to Eataly in Chicago and have been more than a... More

Eating spaces are seperated for different types of cook. More and good alternatives of cooking materials than one should want. But the eating spaces are like fast-food spaces according to their sound levels and service styles. Seating alternatives are fine mostly. Menu not bad, not superb.

They carry the best products from Italy and around the world. The cheese selection alone is impressive. They have Tete De Moine, Robiola, fresh ricotta.... many options fir each style of cheese... They also have restaurants here. Each restaurants serves one type of cuisine: meat; fish; pizza/pasta; dessert etc The food and good and the service is extremely friendly.

Eataly is more than a supermarket with restaurants. It is an energetic marketplace--an opportunity to taste and take home the products of artisans who create the highest quality products at a fair price
