Another highlight for me was a visit here. The cafe is really old, with carved wooden vine leaves and grapes all around, old marble tables, waiters with full livery, a huge range of colour liqueur bottles and an art nouveau feel. friendly service. Following the advice of a travel writer in The Telegraph, we asked for Prosecco (9 Euros), and... More

Lovely aperitivo with tramezzini quiche and Spitz in a cosy space outside the cafe. Fresh summer air and love. Definitely you have to pop in!

Had a vermouth and some snacks outside, it was a lovely experience. Really enjoyed the little sandwiches! Wish there was a caffe like this near my home in the Bay Area, California.

Everytime I come to Turin I go to this cafe to have a Sambuca apero. There are a few tables inside and about 6 or so outside. The ambiance is wonderful. The cafe is located inside the arcards so if it's raining you're covered. This is a must see !

This is a tiny jewel-box of a caffe right on the Piazza Castello in Turin, convenient for shopping, sightseeing and the opera. It's a beautiful shop, with only a few tables inside and a few more outside. Superb service, very nice and helpful staff. We had coffee and un bicherin (the traditional drink of Turin -- chocolate, caffe and cream)... More

After a concert performance we were delighted that this bar was still serving. We thought it was a likeable hostelry with traditional décor and atmosphere. There were a good number of patrons, adding to the pleasant ambiance. Cappuccino and a snack followed by a cake were on the menu for us. The barman was friendly. All in all a nice... More

this is one of my favourite bars in Turin. It is an Historical Cafe' bar and has amazing carving from ceiling onto to walls. it is very small and has only about 5 small tables but it is one of those places where you must go in Turin to have the traditional Bicerin as well as their own aperitivo. In... More

Good coffe and chocolate but comparing to other places, it seems to be a little bit steep. Location is very good at Lagrange st.

In a world (especially in England) where every nuance of a restaurant or coffee shop is carefully manufactured with a view to roll out at least 50 identical units around the country, it’s always a pleasure to enter into a bar that hasn’t changed for decades. They may have installed the latest catering equipment in the kitchens (unlikely) but the... More
