Guido gobino is a tiny little shop on a street corner that is easily missed. There is seating outside, a little shop then a strip of seating in the back. All seating was taken outside so I sent my partner to the seating at the back of the shop whilst I ordered out drinks. The queuing system was strange, with... More

Been here every time I've been in Turin. This place has nothing to envy when compared to other chocolate luminaries in Europe. Some of the best chocolate in the world and creative in its flavors. The service is impeccable and they accommodated me so nicely (as it was at the end of their shift and were closing the place down),... More

It is an Amazing place for people who loves chocolate. There is also an historical small room inside to enjoy a break after a visit at the city centre of Turin. Located in the pedestrian area of Via Lagrange close to the Egyptiam museum.

If you want a true hot chocolate definitely have to come to this place. Not only got chocolate but also coffee and souvenirs are great to buy too. I'd tried the hot chocolate of course and returned the next day for a bicerin drink and to buy boxes of chocolates for Christmas gift, the cremino and gianduiotto are delicious! Just... More

Buy your gifts here, buy yourself a package or two, and then buy an extra package of these chocolates. My favorite turned out to be the cubes wrapped in different foil colors (for different flavors). There is a reason this place is number 1 on Yelp. The chocolates are expensive, but worthwhile. And they will melt easily so avoid them... More

Friendly staff who spoke English well and did their best to explain to me the different varieties of chocolate they offered. Ended up buying a custom picked box of chocolates for my parents and my boyfriends parents. Here's to hoping they enjoy the chocolate!

Great selection of traditional chocolate. Try the cremini and the gianduiotti (invented in Turin) for an authentic experience. I always buy here some gifts to bring to the US (always appreciated!). In summer they also give customers a small cool bag to carry the chocolate on the airplane.

Just before leaving Turin to go home, I went to Guido Gobino. I had been there 2 days earlier and was impressed by the quality and service of the store. it is located in the center of town. The history of the store speaks for itself. I bought a selection of chocolates and it was packed for travel. I will... More

I am a bit of a chocolate nut, so I went to this place seeking out the drinking chocolate of Turin. I feared it might be overrated or a tourist trap, but I was wrong. It was excellent. The chocolate was very thick. When I moved the cup, the "liquid" mass slowly moved. I got extra bitter, and it was... More

Chanced upon this non-descript shop. Being choc lovers, we were drawn by the glass counter with its pretty parade of pralines. Then we spotted them...slabs of chocolate that reminded us of Laderach (Switzerland). Had to try one of those. And we weren't disappointed! We tried both the dark choc and gianduja versions, and found that the dark choc choice was... More
