Best hot chocolate i've ever tasted, period.

Even if you are not a big fan of hot chocolate (which im not, by the way), you still need to taste it here. Its so thick and creamy, as if you are drinking some sort of melted pudding, a truly amazing experience. I will be coming back to this place to try out the other stuff, I would have... read more

Gobino is a very famous chocolate shop. I visited it based on recommendations from locals and our walking tour guide. It was super busy but after waiting for a while we got the place to sit. I ordered hazelnut hot chocolate and it was awesome. The cost was lower than what I anticipated in this luxurious chocolate shop. Unfortunately, the... More

Loads of chocolates to choose from. Staff are very helpful and willing to explain. You are also allowed to taste before buying. Must be visited if in Turin.

Guido Gobino's tiny shop is full of delicious chocolates to tempt you. The staff person patiently described the different flavors available. They also had wrapped chocolate to eat as you try to decide which of their many chocolates to take with you. I left with a box filled with 10 or so different flavors. Whether you prefer dark or milk,... More

We decided to try the gelato after seeing a bunch of tourists ordering their chocolate gelato on a cone. However, the extra-dark chocolate flavour that we chose, is served only on a cup as they add dark chocolate chips on the bottom and the top. It was the best dark choc ice cream we have ever had!! So good it... More

Took us a while to find but it was worth it. 5 of us had Bicerin and one Classic Hot Chocolate. The shop was very busy but we were quickly served. The chairs and tables outside could be replaced with something better looking and more comfortable.

the Best chocolates at Turin! These chocolates are a little expensive but definitely a Must. I had already heard about this store at a tourism center but I would go again if I had the opportunity to try exquisite chocolates

Being that gianduia (aka gianduja) was invented in Piemonte, I had to seek the best to try. I love the combination of chocolate and hazelnut and the gianduia at Guido Gobino really puts Nutella to shame. I was able to taste some samples at the shop, which is kitty-comer from the Eqyptian Museum. I purchased a small box for 11€,... More

We spent ten days in Torino and went there almost daily to savour their home made "cioccolata calda" despite the sweltering heat! It is THAT good, irresistible. They have various hot and cold chocolate drinks amongst others apart from their traditional chocolate bars and "cioccolatini". Service is always with a smile and the staff take their time to explain about... More

I get to Turin for family reasons two or three times a year and never fail to return to this cioccolateria... This is a place where chocolate becomes sublime (is it possible? yes if you have tasted what chocolate can become commercially anywhere..).. don't miss it.. and don't miss their ganache collection..!
