As wine lover I like to try these small and cosy places where the wine cmes first and then the food completes the the experience. This place is nice and cosy with a typical cellar type of dining room. Very nice wine list with older vintages of most local Piedmontese wines, which are mature now! Service only in Italian, which... A casual and cozy place which offers a varied selection of tasty dishes and good wine (try "In Pectore") served quickly and courteously. A dependable spot for a lovely meal...or just to sample a glass of wine or two!

There really is no weak link here, as these guys really understand good food and good service. As a wine professional, I'm used to being let down by restaurant wine selections, but this is different, there's something here, priced right, for everyone! Charming place, can't wait to return. Highly recommended.

We had a first class meal selected from the chalk board of daily specials. My wife and I tried almost everything from the board and can honestly say it was one of the best meals we ever have. Beef tartare the star of the show

This restaurant is tucked away into a small alleyway and was recommended by our B&B. I had the melanzane which was delicious and an octopus / potato soup which was bland. Overall nice experience dining in a cellar-like room, intimate / romantic, good service and average food.

Recommended by a local winery this restaurant matched the expectations and is definetely worth a visit. With two different choices from the daily menue we got the chance to try six courses and they were all nice! Also the wines (especially a 2004 barbera superiore from Nizza Montferrato - wow!) were great. Besides the restaurant you can also buy some... More

Was brought to this charming place by friend from Fontanafredda winery. Local couple host a cousy little deli restaurant which has great selection of Piemonte wines and even very odd specialities, artesan bears and excellent food: Anchovy were delicious, Piemontese raw meat and ragus worth travel even from far. Almost impossible to leave without buying some delicacies for souvenirs.

Good Sardinian cooking but also a good selection of Pietmontese food, prepared in an imaginative style. In addition this restaurant offers and excellent choice of Italian wines, chosen with care and knowledge. Worth visiting for both the wines and the food.
