Owner Duilio is a perfect host: competent, wise and friendly. The menu is not vast but definitely high end quality. Start with the antipasti selection, followed by the superb 3 meat home made “ gobbi “ Monferrini agnolotti or Tagliatelle zucchini carbonara, all good. Meats likee the veal meatballs with peppers are all good. Desert? try the Giandoja mousse....Very interesting... More

I dined here last Friday night and the food was so delicious, that I booked again for Saturday night. The food is to die for ! Fresh innovative Italian cooking, backed up with very friendly service from the family owners. You will not be disappointed !

We loved the food the serve and the father and son team so much that we returned for dinner. They even went so far as to mix and match apps. and put together plates for everyone at table(8). The host was also exceptional with wine selections and their wine cellar is second to no one for regional and obscure wines.

Great little bistro with local Piemonte cuisine, excellent wine and fabulous service. It's run by the owner and his son Simone who both speak several languages, which makes it an accessible treat for tourists. Traveling with a group of 10 wine professionals from the US, we ended up here twice in one week it was so good. Reservations are definitely... More

After 2 attempts finally managed to get a dinner booking (be warned: they can get booked out), but worth the wait. The somewhat dated decor and low-rent location gives way to honest fare and a tribute to Piemontese produce and tradition. Good service from the family run business, with local knowledge an added bonus. Started with gnocchi with pesto, ravioli... More

I can really recommend Campanaro. Excellent food, excellent service by the owner himself, excellent wines and all at very moderate prices (at least compared to big cities).

We arrived in Asti just after lunch and fortunately our hotel has a arrangement with Campanaro to feed us stragglers, which is great customer service. They were very accommodating and provided professional service. The food was very good, tuna and veal was great, tripe which I never had before was interesting and tasty and the wild boar was OK but... More
