We opened our meal with a selection of cold and then hot antipasti. All of them were fabulous. If forced to pick a favorite, it would be the roasted pepper with bagna caoda. The tagliarini ai burro with tartufi bianchi is not to be missed. We ended the meal with a panna cotta with persimmon sauce and a gianduja mousse.... More

Let me first admit my prejudice. I spent many years working in restaurants. It was my profession. Campanaro seats maybe 40. Maybe less. The dining room tables are well spaced. Chairs comfortable. All that just fine. Many restaurants can offer that. What is special here is the commitment to excellence. The service is provided by two gentlemen. I found out... More

This was a restaurant recommended by our B&B hosts. We had a very charming young waiter who spoke excellent English and explained the menu to us. He said he runs the restaurant with his Dad. For our starter we shared a terrine of turkey and rabbit with apricots and chopped carrots. It was enormous and he divided it for us.... More

Nice service and excellent recommendations on local Asti food and wines. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and service received

This is a tad out of the way compared to the other well rated restaurants in Asti, but it's definitely worth the short walk. The dishes were a welcome break in a holiday that revolved mainly around pasta, meats and cheeses - not that you can't have that here, but there are more original creations on offer, and they're well... We stopped here after a day of touring wineries in the area and had a wonderful dinner. We did not have a reservation and the waiter was so welcoming and happy to have us there that we felt extremely welcomed. Both my husband and I ordered ravioli although his was stuffed with a meat mixture and mine was stuffed with... More

Located 10min walking from the historical city centre, but definitely worth while. Typical local, very tasty food; large selection of local wines. Friendly and welcoming staff. Lots of locals come here, so definitely no tourist trap. Highly recommended! make sure to book in advance, often full!

Owner Duilio is a perfect host: competent, wise and friendly. The menu is not vast but definitely high end quality. Start with the antipasti selection, followed by the superb 3 meat home made “ gobbi “ Monferrini agnolotti or Tagliatelle zucchini carbonara, all good. Meats likee the veal meatballs with peppers are all good. Desert? try the Giandoja mousse....Very interesting... More

I dined here last Friday night and the food was so delicious, that I booked again for Saturday night. The food is to die for ! Fresh innovative Italian cooking, backed up with very friendly service from the family owners. You will not be disappointed !
