The location of Ravioleria Sarpi is in one of the best street food place, China Town. We were there at 8 p.m. and there was a little queue however we did not wait too long. Women were making dumplings by their hands and the area was so clean. There are 3 types of ravioli and we have chosen with vegetarian one. In one portion there are 4 dumplings and they are big as cannonballs filled with lots of ingredients =) The vegetarian one was filled with carrot, cabbage, ginger, spinach, and tofu. The price was approximately 5-6 EUR. We highly recommend the place, you need to try their ravioli with soy sauce.

Arrived in Milan in the early morning and was hungry so decided to have some Chinese dumplings as a snack between business meetings in the heart of Milan’s “Chinatown” (Via Sarpi area). The Ravioleria was not busy yet as it was still late morning, so I luckily didn’t have to stand in line. As it was a snack I just took some extremely delicious beef dumplings , they are served to take away in a small plastic dish with a small wooden fork (I forgot to ask for chopsticks). The filling was tasty and full of flavors, the dumpling’s dough was good and well cooked, it felt almost like being somewhere in China!. Unfortunately I had to eat the dumplings on the street in a hurry and couldn’t spot any nearby bench to enjoy the food in a more comfortable way. I would suggest the Ravioleria very much for anyone liking Chinese dumplings!

Bit of a walk out of town, but nice to explore Dina town… the food was really tasty, especially for the price (4euro for 4pieves of ravioli ) and 6euro for a tasty meat / egg wrap. They make it fresh in front of you too

Simply the best ravioli in Milan. Homemade, with organic meat from the local butcher but pretty cheap. Just 3-4 types of ravioli.

It's fun to watch them being made as you wait to order some of these wonderful dumplings. We tried all 3 varieties available that day and enjoyed them all. Took them across the street to sit at Cantina Isola and have a glass of wine. Just a few blocks from the excellent Monumental Cemetary.

Ravioleria Sarpi is a takeaway spot for a quick meal located in Milan’s Chinatown. The highlight of this restaurant is their traditional Italian pasta filled with Asian ingredients to create a delicious dumpling -- two worlds of flavour combined perfectly. You can watch the ladies prepare and cook your food. The dumplings are plump, delicious, and flavourful, and they are made-to-order and served in a takeaway container with a splash of soy sauce. They have both vegetarian and meat options. They also have crepes filled with Asian ingredients like tofu, green onions, and the option of spicy or mild sauce. Note that there are no tables -- it is strictly a takeaway restaurant for a quick bite. We highly recommend this spot for lunch or evening snack!

Excellent food/ snack in the heart of Chinatown for only a +- 4 euro's. The appearance of this take away food store is simple, but the taste is delicious. If you're lucky you can have a seat on a bench within 25 meters.

For me the best thing is seeing them freshly cook the food. Open kitchen of deliciousness. Highly advise the ravioli of course. Friendly staff and quick to give orders.

we decided to have a Street Food Day, and Ravioleria Sarpi was our first stop. Don’t be put off by the lines, because they move fast. They sell steamed dumplings with either a meat or vegetable filling and there are 4 per order. I had the vegetable ones, which were good if just slightly bland. My Street Food Day companion had the meat, which had a small amount of seasoning and was judged “pretty good.” (The meat, I should note, is all locally sourced, according to a sign.) So overall I would say that the dumplings are very good because they are fresh, satisfying, and made right then and there with good and simple ingredients. A great value, too.

While enjoying wine at Cantine Isola, our amazing food tour guide Sara Porro brought over from across the street Ravioleria Sarpi's crepe and dumplings. Amazing flavors.
