Great food. Helpful and friendly staff. A tad pricey ( lunch for 2 including 1 wine and 1 coke, no desert or coffees was 64 euros) but by and large worth it. A nice find and highly recommended

Stopped there after wandering through the paved streets of Brera and this was definitely much more attractive than the touristy osterias right next door. Obviously a big choice of mozzarella which was really tasty - I recommend the "intenso". Everything tastes fresh. Portions are not too big but enough to feel satiated. Big terrace great to enjoy the sun.

What a delightful little restaurant in a wonderful neighborhood. The BEST caprese salad we had in Italy - and we had it almost every night. The mozzarella was delicious and the tomatoes were tasty and beautiful. I had a pesto pasta that was simply divine. Loved the ambience inside but we decided to eat outside to get a feeling for... The second constant choice if going to Milan. Love these bars. The selection of mozzarella is the best. You may also find other fresh food options. A nice variant for breakfast as well as for aperetivo.

The menu is not too long but the quality of food is overwhelmingly good. This is my favourite place in the area. The only thing I did not appreciate is the lack of service attitude. But still I have no problems returning here every time I visit Milan and wish to eat well. And still: it is not too expensive.

We didn't try the main courses, but the mozzarella, bread and pesto was totally amazing! The staffs English skills weren't the best but they were really friendly, helpful and tried. It was so great that we actually went a second time just to have some more of this heavenly cheese!

We were taking a walk through the Brera neighborhood and decided to stop here for dinner. It was pouring outside, so we also wanted to get out of the rain. Nice place to have dinner. There were appetizers on the bar and we were discussing if they were for the customers or just for the bar. It was never offered... More

Staying in Brera

Neighborhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
