DO NOT EAT HERE. Aside from the service being incredibly rude and the food being no better than any other average touristy Italian restaurant, I personally witnessed the waiters taking the uneaten bread from tables and placing them in a deep drawer FULL of other stale rolls. (I could tell they were stale because the bread fell into the drawer... More

This restaurant is one of the worst we have tried in Milan - and we have tried very many. The pizza is awful: small, badly cooked and overpriced. You get to pay a EUR 3.60 cover charge as if you were in an elegant restaurant, while the atmosphere and decor is that of a mediocre pizzeria. And for that, they... More

This place in central Milan is a great Favourite when visiting this elegant city - after being away a whole year the staff immediately recognized me - we had such a lovely meal in typical Milan style beautiful saffron pasta to start and then cotoletta alla milanese also called elephant ears and to end a lovely strong espresso all excellent... I have been here several times since October and finally needed to write about this wonderful little hideaway- just a few steps from the Duomo, with a wonderful selection of wines and meats, cheeses, and other small snacks for Happy Hour or aperitivo. I have only been to the wine bar side and not eaten in the restaurant. The staff... More

Cappuccino without milk cap... Pizza is small and not do delicious as it should be in Italy... Moreover, waiter pour over my coffee and behave like everything is OK... I'll never come back definitely...

We had just a pizza and a beer but we had to wait forever to checkout, though the place was almost empty. The pizza was really terrible, looked like it was just unfrozen in the microwave oven. Though I'm an Italian native speaker, I couldn't help but notice the modest level of English the waiters were speaking with other customers.... More

Pizza was alright (not as impressive as we expected), but tiramisu - it's a mind blow which you definitely should try.

We left the main square looking for somewhere a little quieter and found this restaurant. The bolognese and carbonara were delicious however we were stung with the 7.20 euro service charge (3.60 per head) which I didn't really appreciate. Tipping is a personal choice and I don't like that forced on me. The service was ok but nothing special -... More

We ate a very tasty lunch here overlooking the square. It was busy even for a week day. The salads were excellent as was the gnocchi and the pizzas. Good service. Just be aware of the cover charge though. It was E3.60 per person and there was only bread served at the table, but it seemed this included service, so... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
