A familiar restaurant, well decorated but not very comfortable-old chairs. Food ok, young waiters trying harder but with few experience Baby from the family crying during diner time

In a world dominated by tasteless molecular cuisine and improvised master chefs it's such a pleasure discovering traditional restaurants such as this one! Preserving the good old heritage of Italian genuine cooking based on good ingredients and skilled, but respectful elaboration! The antipasto was fabulous (melanzane alla parmigiana, salvia fritta and good cold cuts) the risotto asparagus was cooked at... More

We were a big group, more than 15 and had a great dinner. Service and staff really nice, great assorted salamis and mozzarella, and an amazing t-bone, really mild and tasty. Wines and desserts at good level.

This restaurant is a refreshing establishment of sorts. It has a lovely welcoming garden in the middle of town and a warm ambiencefamily style restaurant with a log fire inside for the long Milanese autumn and winter months. The staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. The menu has both very traditional and a few innovative suggestions. The appetisers are... More

We spent a dinner with friends (a party of 8 adults with kids). We had wonderful food and kids were really happy to play in the basement or in the garden. When you arrive in this restaurant, you feel like Milano is far away...... I definitely recommend this place both for a reunion or for a business dinner. Ask for... More

Just back from a meal at this fab restaurant. We are staying at the hotel hermitage (which is also very good) and this restaurant is around the corner. The service is brilliant and the food is unbelievable. We have been travelling in the south of france for the last few weeks and this meal is the best we have had.... More

We had one of the very best Italian dinners ever at Pupurry. Mixed antipasto contained a surprising and tasty selection of also not so usual dishes, all simply delicious. We had some problems deciding what to choose for primi piatti, but got help from the chef, Marco, who came to the homely decorated dining room to give us assistance. He... More

Located a little out of the way this restaurant is a real treat for people wanting to sample local food prepared properly. The service is first class, the ambience friendly, welcoming and personal. Do not expect a bland mixture of tourist compromise. Milan is miles from the sea so don't expect seafood! The food is traditional, focussing on locally grown... More
