Very friendly, kind, and generous. The staff is great, with the boss always here to help. It was our last day in Milan, and we came with our bags; he directly asked that they were taking care of. :-) Then the food! The plates are generous. After the primi we were nearly full. One plate of mozzarella was a lot... More

My heading says it all. Not the place I know with the best food, and first time I came trough the door I was skeptical. But there is just something about this place, the vibe, the staff, the food... ..it all comes together in joyous harmony, and it is an absolute experience. I eat here every time I am in... More

Lovely staff, delicious food and really good prices. Lots of locals. We always book to make sure we get a table because it's always full.

We visit Milan ~5 times a year and every single time come to this restaurant. Absolutely fantastic. EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious. Service is perfect. Not easy to find but totally worth it.

Very cute little family run restaurant in Milan, with the best pasta ever! The portions a re massive and extremely delicious. The wine list a bit poor, but it`s not a big deal. Quite cheap for the quantity you get. Service is so fast and efficient, that sometimes feels like they are rude to you. You get unlimited amount of... More

We visited this place after reading many reviews on trip advisor. I was looking for a local, intimate restaurant that would serve authentic Italian cuisine. This place ticked all the boxes! We arrived quite early (7 pm) and had some starters, a bottle of wine, two mains and some water. It was ridiculously cheap considering they kept bringing more food... More

Hands down the best pasta in milano for sure I had the pacherri alla giannino and the prosciutto de melone - the wine was lovely and the service is great - not to full on and not hands off either - highly recommend this place for the food - as for the other not so good reviews - ignore; if... We arrived on a busy Sunday afternoon after touring Milan on foot for hours and watching the Carabinieri parade which took over the main roads during their march to the Duomo. The weather was perfect and after walking 10 km, we were ready for a meal. Da Giannino sits on the corner of a non-descript part of Milan. If you... More

Highly recommended online, nlt so impressive in person, waiter asked if we were ready to order about 5 times in the forst 7 minutes we were seated. There was a pile of neverendin4hg oily bread on our table the entire meal. (It was magical, if you take one piece off and eat it 5 more are piled immediately). Stuffed olives... More

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the apartment we rented and I'm so pleased we went. The place was filled with family groups who seemed to be locals enjoying lovely food and great company. I had the roasted lamb and it was a clear winner over my partner's veal dish which he found a bit dry. The service... More
