My parents just had breakfast here this morning. It wasn't bad but things cost double if they wanted to sit down, which as an older couple they obviously did.

Woke up early to get a train to Pisa,me myself decided to get a tea and my friend milky coffee the tea cost 3'00€ and my friends coffee 2'50€ my tea was good but for that price a rip off my friends coffee or I'll...say just milk for 2'50€ not worth it at all and cold coffee. Me and my cousin decided we should sit down and wait for a drinks to arrive the gentleman came to the table and started saying we have to pay for the sitting for 3 people WTH??Pay for what,?? We just brought drinks from the same cafe bar and that's not the worst part you have to pay 5€ per person,5€ PER PERSON definitely not coming to this cafe again, arrogant.More

Dropped by while waiting for a train, very odd little place where you q if you want a table. Fine for a coke or a bottle of water but I'd not eat here... there is air con.

We dragged our suitcases across the street from the Milan train station to this restaurant in the hope of being less ripped off than if we ate in the train station itself. I don't think we saved much. The food was mediocre, but edible and...we were grateful for the bottled water after a long night of travel and the waiter who waved his pizza pans in lieu of air conditioning. Would I come back here? Definitely not, because you do not get value for your Euros. We were charged 4 Euros for 15 minutes of Wifi, 12 Euros for 4 small bottles of water, and a cover charge of 2 Euros per person. The only reasonable price was 7 Euros per panini. Luckily, I didn't notice the TIPS NOT INCLUDED note at the bottom of the receipt. 10% GOOD OR 20 % EXCELLENT, it said. Hahaha, that's what the cover charge is for, according to the locals, who begged us not to ruin it for them, as tipping is not expected in Europe, unless you're a clueless North American!More

We had breakfast a couple of days in a row here as we were travelling out to Lake Como and Turin during our stay in Milan. convenient and well priced considering the location, very busy as you would expect during rush hour.

This worked out rather well for us; we had coffee and hot chocolate to kill some time before our train was leaving, and of course couldn't resist some Italian pastries. The "Viennese alla crema e mandorle" was in the display case for €1.70 but showed...up on the bill for €3.00, the same went for other pastries. This was not transparent and a bit disappointing. Also, the hot chocolate was not warm milk with chocolate, but literally melted chocolate - very sweet and very sickening for our kids who have a sweet tooth, but this was clearly too much of a good thing. The waiter was nice, though, even though he had a huge row with another customer who ended up flipping him off. Very odd morning at Bar Centrale.More

We had an aperitif last Sunday during the happy hour. It costs € 7.- per drink and it includes tid bits like potato chips, pizza bits, focaccia bits, cold cuts, peanuts, etc. a lively place, especially during the happy hour from 6 p.m. to 8...p.m.! Near the bar you have a self service counter where you can get some local dishes like risotto, cold cuts, etc. at reasonable prices.More
