Recommended by our hotel, this restaurant is in a good location, it had a good atmosphere and the service was friendly and pretty attentive. However, for 2 mains and 1 dessert excluding the bottle of Champagne cost us €80. The champagne was €120 and was not kept in a fridge, so we had to wait 10/15mins for it to be... More

We can only echo the reviews that comment on bland food, inattentive service and vastly overpriced food. Do not be fooled by the secluded candle lit courtyard. The interior is only one small step away from cafe decor with one long bench seat along one wall with very tired upholstery. Like your other reviewers we also felt rushed through our... More

It was introduced to us by our hotel concierge. Unfortunately it didn't worth. Food was not so good for an Italian restaurant and seemed like "let's feed them something ".Service was a bit lazy and it was like "come on guys, finish and leave".

Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Furniture: 7/10 Cleanliness: 9/10 Welcoming: 9/10 Taste: 8/10 I recommend to try the liver platter as a starter, it was very delicious. The location of the restaurant is fantastic, it is in the heart of shopping district. From here you can end or start your shopping spree.

My husband and I booked Don Lisander at the recommendation of our hotel concierge. We had wanted to reserve a special restaurant to celebrate our last night of holiday and we were so disappointed with our experience. For the price of the food compared to other restaurants we ate at during our trip to Italy, we expected much more. The... More

This restaurant is a couple of hundred yards from La Scala and the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele, where restaurant prices tend to the very high. But prices were reasonable here, the room is attractive, the service good. The wine list is interesting and fairly priced. The food is of very good trattoria standard. Unless you are looking for Michelin-starred fine dining,... More

The atmosphere is great in this cozy restaurant. It has both outdoor and indoor dining. We were greeted warmly by the head waiter, Giuseppe, who made our service experience extraordinary. I have noticed other reviews stating this was pricey but compared to other restaurants in the area price was comparable. What set this apart was the attentive service level as... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighborhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
