The place is really pretty. Beautiful design. People who work there are extremely friendly. The menu is very typical for Milan/ Nord of Italy. You can find there enormous and very good pork chop. I recommend it.

Very pleasant and friendly service, nice decoration and incredibly good food. Local specialities like insalata di nervetti or mondeghili extremely well executed...great quality price report too...and the regional wine of great value

The food was delicious and well made with local specialities. Dinner was delivered quickly as well. The staff was friendly, flexible and professional. Recommend!

I was there 20 years ago with my parents. I had the best "cucina milanese" of my life. It is not that quality anymore; it is not the "real" yellow risotto made with meat-soup and quality safron. What a pity. Just the friendly atmposhere is...the one still. Hope the quality level to improve soon and the risotto to be "goldy food" again.More

We came here from a recommendation from a local and we weren’t disappointed. We wanted to have the stereotypical foods of Milan, risotto Milanese, Vitello milanese, and Osso Buco. All 3 were extremely delicious. The service is a little laid back, but if your on...vacation, then who cares.More

I have been going to Milano with my Soccer team (no great result for them) but the evening before we went to that restaurant recommended by the hotel to us. You find a typical Italian traitors, with Milanese specialities. The waiters are what you expect...in Italy, Sirs of their profession and very friendly. The food was exceptionalmandate the wine list has some treasures for moderate prices. All in Alexander we had a great evening in nice atmosphere with very good food. Let me know what you think about that place when you were there.More

The food was excellent especially the risotto with ossobuco and the panfried veal. Cannot find better elsewhere in Milan. The menu offers the traditional tastes from Milan following the traditional recipe. Nice environment and definitely ... not fo free. On my opinion it worths the...bill at least once.... The meal we had at la PesaTrattoria was by far the best we had in Milano. The food was delicious, the quality is the best and it is completely affordable. If I ever go back to Milano I will for sure return.

La Pesa is a small established trattoria about 10 mins walk from Gambara metro station in a residential area close to the San Siro stadium. Our experience was quite mixed Food 4/5 - actually perfectly decent esp milanese dishes like saffron rice and the roustin...negaa and even the grilled meneghina tart. Limited menu choice (for me a positive) and whilst not gourmet a superior experience overall Value for money 3/5 - starters around €12, mains 16-23...is a little expensive in my view given basic surroundings but not hugely so. As I wrote, food was perfectly fine. Service 2/5 - positively painful. 2 front of house staff for around 40 covers, with clearly a small kitchen. I could see they were working their socks off but it took almost 3 hours for dinner which frankly is not on. It may have been an off night but we saw others leave before dessert and they really need to sort this out. Overall an ok experience but food not exciting enough for us to spend another 3 hours there so will pass next time...unless I read reviews of improved service (also known as...hire someone!)More
