It's a cosy bar that is open most of the day, but my preference is to grab a coffee and one of their many pastries and people watch!

We came here with a large party and enjoyed our time - the waitresses were both fine and many of us also enjoyed some food. However, at closing time, we were not told there was a last call (an opportunity of them to make more money by the way) and we were told to pay NOW, though we had not... More

We stopped in for a quick lunch before going to the museo mudec. cool place - unique environment with lots of character and nice people running it. food was ok--no highs no lows apart from the salad which was very good. if you like a wide selection beers (i am a novice so know very little) it seemed like a... What a great local bar for the great Milanese tradition aperitivo. Milan is a wonderful city that tends to do things their way. And why not? Their way is a great life style. So around six in the evening or so you might go out for a drink or two, (aperitivo). They will provide wonderful snacks sort of like tapas... More

Whilst staying at the Nhow hotel the first time we discovered this bar on our way back from dinner. What a result. They understand serivce, they serve good beer, and they also don't rip off non-Italians. For these reasons we have been going back ever since. Small amount of English spoken, but much smiling and comprending undertaken.

Stumbled on this place while looking for a nightcap. Opens on a side street off via Toronta, behind the Boccini restaurant. Several intimate tables, low lighting, good choice of wine, cool latin jazz notes in the background blending with local conversation. Authentic, ambient, romantic.... A moment in timlessness if you manage to catch it.

Staying in Navigli

Neighborhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
