We arrived early in the morning at Naviglio Grande and after a gentle stroll around d the canal we were ready for a refreshing drink. A lot of cafes/restaurants were still closed or just setting up, but this place was already busy. Inside is an...eclectic mix of artworks, objects etc all set in a hip, laidback kind of vibe. We were sat outside next to the canal, which was great for people watching and service was speedy but not pushy. There is excellent wifi and if I did have one complaint it was the charge of €9 for a aperol spritz, pricey even at Milan prices.More

You must visit this place if you have a stroll along the canal. Cocktails are absolutely superb, all deco and team behind the bar. Everything is well designed and deeply thought through. Very eclectic venue, small and cosy

Okay, so we stopped in because Stanley Tucci did. We are on our Tucci Tour. We arrived at 1130am for a cappuccino and a cocktail. Cocktail menu not available until 12 which was fine. At 12 we were told only a couple of the drinks...were available to be made. We ordered two drinks which were good and had some popcorn (which was surprisingly good) and corn nuts. Overall a good place, come after 5 for a bigger menu.More

The waiter was so rude to my wife and me that we left after one drink. Never saw that in my life, so if you are visiting Milan and are looking for a place to have a good experience, AVOID AT ALL COST! It can...ruin your night.More

Absolutely standout cocktails. We had a fantastic aperitivo here. If you are serious about your cocktail game, the family of Mag Cafe bars are absolutely the place to be. After an incredible time here, our server recommended we check out their neighboring bar called Backdoor43,...the so-called smallest bar in the world. We booked a reservation for that night and had some of the best drinks of our life by bartender Joseppi. We went back to Mag the next day to buy two of their house made liquors (Amaro and Bitters).More

4,5/5 Mag Cafe is so popular because of their ambiance and well prepared cocktails. Especially Giappone was one of the best cocktail I’ve ever tried. The gin based cocktail but shiso leaves, Absinthe, Lime juice, Sage syrup and some Ginger beer inside also. We also...liked Negroni del Marinaio. Mezcal and Old Sailor Coffee added a nice taste, although it is a little different from Classic Negroni. The taste of the coffee could have been a little less dominant. You can visit the Navigli area to try these fine cocktails and feel the different ambience of Mag Cafe. €8 cocktails.More

May 19th, 2020 Finally the lockdown is over! First destination to celebrate the possibility of going back to a bar and grab a great cocktail? Obviously MAG! That's why I get into my car and reach Milan, the navigli area is beautiful even in this...bizarre phase. When I reach MAG, the organization is totally different from what it was before. Obviously social-distancing measures are active, and the generally crowded room now hosts only a few well separated tables... But it looks great as usual. Cocktails quality is unmodified, the availability of spirits and the preparation of staff is amazing as usual. I love that place... even in this strange moment, if you wanna a great cocktail in totally safe conditions, MAG is a perfect choice !More

I oils like to specify I’m a HUGE fan of Flavio Angiolillo. Very mice bar even if is small, but it’s perfect if you want to take care to all of your guests. Amazing drinks , the menu could be better but it’s ok ....The people was serving us was a bit cold, looks like almost at the end of the shift and the couldn’t wait to leave the place .... but it’s ok . I bought the book from Flavia’s , and when I asked if he could sign for me , Flavio even didn’t watch me or ask me a name or anything to make this moment for me a bit more special . This is the only “ black spot “ of the night . From him I expect something better, if you including all the courses I made with him etc etc etcMore

This is a not so little gem of a place that seems a long way from the center of Milan but is worth the trip. It’s very close the the very trendy canal region of Navagli. Huge space which was a former sawmill. Great candelabras,...long shared tables and a dramatic place for a fun group dinner or with couples. The food was excellent. Wine was great value....I had to ask if it was by the glass or bottle!More

The cafe is next to the Navigli grande canal and it is really nice to sit outside and watch people passing by. Inside it is very interesting to look at all the decorations. We have been there late afternoon on a sunny Sunday and the...service was very friendly and quick. We could stay without beeing pushed or forced to order another drink.More
