This cafe is connected to the Marc Jacobs store in Brera, within walking distance of the Galleria & Duomo. That it's connected to the store felt a bit odd for me, but it contributed to the trendy feel. There were lots of seats out front, which got a bit rowdy as the evening went on. There are a few short... More

We were lucky to have this gem of a spot shown to us by a local! Outdoor patio seating in a quaint courtyard next to an amazing church. They serve up the best spritz and aperitif in Milan! We went back a few times during our visit. The staff is super friendly and welcomed us back. The Marc Jacobs boutique... More

A very cosy place in Milan Good mojito. Open late. Very kind service. We arrived late in the area, everything was already closed, and than, miracle! Will come back.

While heading back to our hotel we spotted this little Cafe just outside a small church ( after visiting The Duomo every other religous building is small ) and sat for a refreshment. Being named after a fashion legend did gave us a chill on the wallet but to our surprise the bill was one of the modest of all... More

but didn't get the chance to try one! They are served in a nice big bowl and look really great for a lunch. Great place for a sunny afternoon, couple of aperol spritz etc. Perhaps the canopy could be a little smaller (when its not raining). Staff were pretty slow, but I guess that doesn't matter if you're on holiday... More

They try very hard to make the bar classy and stylish etc and succeed in some measure. It's just a pity that the chairs are not very comfortable as you have to sit up straight as if you're a model and you're not allowed to touch the decorations such as the books that they display. The food they also try... More

It's a nice place to enjoy a good light lunch or even just a drink sitting in their terrace. Food is quite okay and the service is good. The waiters really dont hurry you up like most places in milan. Location is central and that lil'square is pleasant. It's definetely a good choice.

Not only great drinks in reasonable prices, but also sympathetic people drinking them. Should you have some extra time after shopping, visit.

Staying in Brera

Neighborhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
